ADR time change.....not by me!?

Has anyone had this happen?

I had a sic-fi lunch ADR for 11:30 and now is showing up in MDE as 12:15. I have the original confirmation that shows 11:30. I needed this one to be early. Can they just change and not notify you? Or is this just one of the glitches that happens?

Same thing happened to us - we had an 11am and they changed it to 1:45. I just received a voice mail from them saying they have a schedule change.

Which totally throws a wrench into things, that's for sure.

I received no notification? And I should add our trip is 6 weeks out.

We can deal with it no worries! It just pushes back our afternoon non park plans. I am just worried that they can change any of my ADR's without letting me know.

We're around the same timeframe (arriving the first weekend in May.) I'm not sure when ours was changed, but they called less than an hour ago.

When I called to see if we could adjust the time, nothing else was available. Looks like I get to put my ADR stalker hat back on!

I don't look at my ADRs once they are booked. I don't access my e-mails on holiday either so I wouldn't know.

I would just turn up at my original time with my printout confirmationand expect to be seated!

I just checked mine (May 4th) and it hasn't changed (12:45pm). Thanks for the heads up though. I will continue to check today to see if they change it.

I just came here to see if I was losing my mind! Our Sci-Fi reservation was moved from 11:45 to 12:50 some time in the last 24 hours. I had just checked it yesterday because our 60 days was yesterday so I was setting up our FP+ times. Well today it's been changed and I had no notification. This puts a wrench in our other plans for the day now too.

Mine was changed as well. May 21st from 11:40 to 1:55- didnt receive a call. Checked my ADRS for something and saw a change. Called in and spoke with an extremely rude person who said I called in the change at 12:15. Explained that I did not nor did my daughter and that she doesnt have access to the information. with that being said I told them that they could check my phone records and they stated that I could have called from another phone and that whoever did it would have had to verify my name, address and email and that there was no way for them to prove that it wasnt done by me..... now to find out that it was done by Disney themselves and this is the way that I was treated!!!!! not happy

I feel bad for complaining when some of you have had yours changed by over 2 hours later! We never did get an e-mail or phone call.

I wondered if their hours were being changed - although a noon opening does us no good even if we could snag one of the first ADRs of the day. The boy is quite keen on seeing the stunt car show, and I doubt we'd be out of there in time.

It seems really bizarre to me that they would start opening at noon. We always like to have lunch either before the noontime rush or after. I wonder why they made the change in operating hours.

Especially since there are not very many TS places in DHS that are good for lunch. Have any of the others changed their hours?

It really is a bummer for us. While we've been going to Disney World for years we've never eaten at Sci-Fi and were looking forward to it. Now with them changing our reservation time I'm not sure that it works with our plans for the day and we might just cancel it and do counter service or something.

Yep, we were booked for 11:45 on the 9th & are now at 2:00 also. Got a voicemail at about 3pm yesterday informing me of the change. This won't work as we have Hollywood Brown Derby @ 5:50. Not gonna eat 2 meals within 4 hours! Plus it's our first day there & our flight is @6am, so I'm counting on an afternoon nap!

I'll keep checking for an earlier opening, but I'll probably cancel the 2 PM eventually. A shame, we really love Sci Fi & try to eat there every trip.

I would be particularly furious if I turned up for my original ADR time, found the restaurant shut, my FP+ reservations all set and then be charged the $10 fee for not being at my reservation at the right time! Since quite a few people haven't had any sort of message I am sure quite a few people will end up in this position over the summer.
