Thanks for the info. Actually I was looking for the sticky that had updates as of 5/11 on it. Maybe the moderators took it down?

Just wondering how the new online ADR system was working out for TAs and if there is any new info (or rumor) about when it opens up for us amateurs? There used to be a sticky with the latest updates, 5/11 was the last one I saw.

I was wondering if any Travel agents have used the online ADR system and how bad was it? do you have to start over if the time you want is not available or does it give you what is available? Just wanted the opinion of someone who has used it, it cant be any worse than the call in system, CAN IT?

I have played around with it a bit and I hate it!!!

You have to start over if the time you want isn't available. Much better to call I would say.

I was having a TA help me with mine online while we were on Facebook chat and it took MUCH longer than it would had I just called. The system kept knocking her off and stuff like that. She said it was taking FOREVER and this was in the afternoon.

I have used it alot and personally I love it. Today is a mess because the system keeps going down on Disney's end but the online system seems to be up and I am not having any issues with it.

If your first restaurant choice is not available it will come up with alternates for other restaurants. The only downside is that it only searches for about 30 minutes either way of the time you enter so if you search for 5pm and nothing comes up you have to enter another time.

I used it this past weekend and thought it was great. I was able to book ADRs 90 days out at 12:03 AM. It took me about 30 minutes to book 12 reservations. I usually prefer to handle the reservations on the phone/talking to a person, but will use the online reservations after hours.

I had been wondering this as well. I asked my TA and she didn't give many specifics and didn't say the earliest time she could book (midnight or 7 am). She said in general it was working well with just a few glitches. I have about 2 weeks before I need her to make my ADRs, hoping she is able to get me some good times. She said so far she was mostly able to get what people want (including Chef Mickey's), but cautioned that she was only 1 day into free dining booking.

It was supposed to be Monday but it didn't make the cut and there is no new release date.

I remember some talk that Disney might start allowing people to set up their ADR's online. Has anyone heard of any firm plans to do so? Or is this just a rumor and I'm posting this on the wrong board?

The ADR phone system is as good as ever - 15 mins on hold so far (it warned me "more than 30 mins" wait when I got into the queue at exactly 7am)

[Edit: got through in 40 mins, just got off the phone at 8:05. Got the five reservations we needed within +/- 15 mins]

It's open for TAs right now and last I read here was that it might open to the public next week. If your 90 days is coming up soon, I'd say "watch this space" or board, anyway!

I just made room ressies and the CM said 90 days out for dining ressies but that to keep an eye on the Disney site because they may go back to 120 days out once the online ressie system is fully functional. She said you would have to keep checking the sight to know when and if it will be available that far out again.
