Oh i though the one day they were closed was Christmas??? is that not true???

They are open every day of the year. Crazy, huh? In that respect, Disney dining is in the same boat as the parks are.

If you are staying on site, yes. People have reported getting some dining CMs on the phone who don't seem to know yet that they are allowed to book 90 days out. Others have also posted letting us know that the CMs are saying restaurants are being "added back in" in stages, so not all restaurants are available. If you tried doing this with no luck, I'd call back tonight or tomorrow and hope for another CM. Good luck!

I might be wrong, but if you are staying on site and checking in on the 30th of March, your 90 day date would be 12/30 and then you could make ADRs for the next 10 days if you are staying that long. So I think if you call 12/30 you should be good to go

Oops - I didn't pay attention to the March 30th date. You can book 90 days out from the date your trip starts for up to 10 days of a vacation. In other words, you can't book 100 days out if you stay on site, but you CAN book 90 days in advance of your trip for up to 10 days of the trip. Make sense?

THANKS TO DISBOARDS and all it's helpful members:
I just got off the phone and was able to book ADRs for remainder of our March stay...I was only looking to book Monday 3/23 (since I misunderstood the first post and thought that was the last day allowed at this time). The very kind CM asked what day I was checking in...after I confirmed we were moving to BWV on 3/22 she explained I would be able to reserve an additional from days from 3/22(which was thru the end of our stay!) Now, I knew about the 180 plus 10, but this clearly shows 90 plus 10 (from date of check-in) will be the norm. So excited that the CM thought about it for me!!!

Oh what a happy day

PS I was also able to book BBB during that 10 day window... But strangely enough, Norway Princess Dining was not loaded for the day I wanted...she suggested I try again another day. Considering I thought I was only calling to book 3/23, I was plenty satisfied!!!

Finally a definitive answer.

90+10, 180+10, it really doesn't matter to me. I see all positives for the change to 90.

1. It's better suited for today's economy. Gives Disney a better opportunity to implement changes w/o impacting folks that did reservations 180 out.
2. Less changes to ADR's. I can only imagine how many changes they have had to deal with with the 180 day window.

And from what I have been hearing, people haven't really had too many problems getting the ADR's they wanted 30+ days out. So no biggie!.

Now we just have to wait until Feb.

I'm actually pleased that it's 90 days (assuming it turns out to be true). I think three months in advance is plenty, but that's just me. I'm now wondering if May park hours won't come out until February

I asked yesterday about park hours for May and was told they'd be released in January.

I just called a couple of hours ago for a friend who is traveling 3/23-30. The opening message was the same (no ADRs after 3/22), talked to CM who told me the same. I pressed her and asked her to check and "surprise", I was right. Either she was told to discourage ADRs or she just got to work. Either way, all were made without incident.

OK Just called the main WDW-Dine number and got all my reservations for the week of March 22nd. WONDERFUL!!!! I feel so much better and am now done with my planing. DH is so happy.
Now we have to start planing for next use year for our DVC Vaca.

90 days before Apr 7. I'm not getting out the calendar to count but that should be around Jan 7.

I really hope the May hours are out in January, not Feb. Because 90 days does NOT equal 3 months, so Feb. 1 for May hours will be too "late" for me. Anyone going May 1, our 90 days is Jan. 31.

I'm fine with, and understand, the transition back to 90 days. But since they've been able to provide calendars at/ about 180 days all this time, I sure hope they can do it at 91 days from the first of the month from now on!

Ok called just now to try and get the Princess b'fast at epcot still no go not in the system still, i'll be trying back tomorrow early to try and snag this one.
I did have trouble getting the CM to check the system so i explained that i was able to make a BBB appointment for my girls on 3/23 and had the conf. if she could check to be sure it was in there, b/c she said the other CM must have made the apt. by mistake, sure enough my resv. was there so she put me on hold to ask a surpervisor and sure enough the window is open and email was sent out this morning but she didn't get it... So hopefully by tomorrow morning they will have all gotten the memo on booking 90 days out.
