ADR questions

Hi everyone. I have a couple of questions. I rented points and secured a villa at the Contemporary. My villa reservation shows on MDE but they said the dining plan won't. That's ok, I have a print screen showing it was added. So my questions are:

1. When I make my ADRs, will they show on MDE?

2. I want to make reservations for more table service restaurants than actual dining credits that I have. How will that work or does it matter? I just want to be able to pay out of pocket or with gift cards for the ones that I choose (the less expensive ones).

3. I keep hearing about all of the issues with the MDE app and web site. Will I have more luck just calling (even though MDE lets me reserve an hour earlier that actually calling Disney(?

And as far as on-line versus call, it really depends on the day. The website can be a pain, but it wouldn't hurt to try it at 6 am, and if you have troubles call at 7. I did mine yesterday and was able to do all except 1 on line, and I had to wait until 7 to call and book our last one.

I made a ton of ADRs yesterday and 3 more today and had no problems with the website online right at 6 am. I also called yesterday right at 7 (to fix something that was totally my fault, I booked something for that day instead of for in August because I forgot to change the date) and spoke to a rep after about a 15 second wait.

Obviously, the website does have issues from time to time, but I thought I'd share my recent experience with you, for what it's worth.
