ADR Questions - How late can you be? # of people on ADR?

Hi everyone, I have two questions. How late can you be for an ADR without it being cancelled or listed as a no-show? We have an 11:10 ADR at H&V, but won't get there until about 11:15 because the road will be blocked for the parade and we will be coming from the Frozen singalong.

Also, our party of 5 consists of 2 adults, 2 kids and 1 under 3. On some of my reservations I only booked for 4 (particularly at CRT where I didn't want to be charged a dining credit for my under 3 year old). Will they be ok with that? We really just need a 4 top w/a high chair pulled up. Or if worst comes to worst my almost 3 year old could sit on my lap.

Most reports say you can be 15 minutes late and still be okay.

You need to book your ADR's for the correct number of people. The tables are often close together and you cannot simply pull up a high chair to a four-top. When you specify the people included, you'll be charged the correct price, or number of dining credits, based on age.

Especially CRT. I remember feeling way too close to my neighbors there.

In most cases the grace period is 15 minutes, but there is no hard and fast rule so it depends on the restaurant.

Dining reservations need to include everyone who will be at the table, regardless of how young they are because of fire code regulations. With 5 you need a larger sized table because the tables at many restaurants are so close together they cannot squeeze in another chair and still have the aisles open for servers and characters to walk around safely.

At CRT when you booked the res would have asked for the children's ages and take in account one of your kids is less than 3 years old and therefore free.

At any restaurants where you have booked only 4 people the CMs will do their best to seat everyone, but there is a slight chance that if the restaurant is at capacity or running far behind schedule, there is a possibility that one person in your group will not be seated. Also be prepared for a longer wait since you'll need a larger sized table.

If possible, I would call dining reservations and see if your reservations can be changed to 5. For those that cannot be changed because no table is available you can check online multiple times of day for reservations for the correct size party.

Yes, I've been obsessively searching for 5 everyday. So far, no luck!

You need to change as many ADRs to the correct number of guests as you can. If you show up with an extra, no matter how small, there is no guarantee they will be accommodated.

Your biggest problem is that you will need a larger table than the restaurants think you need. That can cause a long delay, or be outright impossible to get for you.

Keep in mind too that Disney asks you to be at your ADR 15 minutes prior to the time given. And as you are asking them to seat an additional guest, you should be there before that, to give them a heads-up. Is you H&V ADR for 5 guests? I really hope so.

Nope, still searching for 5 for that too. All my other ADRs are for 5.

Call. I have been searching to add 3 more to my Tomorrowland Terrace ressie, and I finally called. I started by saying, "I know I'm asking the impossible, but..." and to my amazement she said it went through!

Hooray! I got my H&V pre-park opening ADR this morning for 5! It is on a different day, but I can just rearrange my schedule. Now I just need CRT!
