Hi so for our upcoming trip we have 2 dining reservations booked at Topolino as we were going to go twice. We may have s situation where we have to leave early but other family members will be there. the reservation is in my name. If we have to leave early would our family members be able to use that reservation in our name or do I have to cancel it? They are not linked to us so their name would not show up on the reservation, will they seat them? If we stay we are going to hope they can turn our 2 reservation into a 4 so they can join us but asking in case we have to leave early. Also if this is frowned upon or unethical I wouldnt want to do that and take advantage so if thats the case please advise we dont want o do anything we shouldnt

I think you can share your plans with them so they get the reservation on their MDE. Then they can check in without you. There is no penalty to arrive with less than your original party. Unless of course it's a pre paid on like Cinderellas Royal Table, Hoop-Dee-Doo or others like that

Anyone can check in for a reservation under any name. They won’t check ID. I’ve made reservations for my kids before under my name and they’ve never had a problem.

I’d try to change it to a party of 4 if you think there will be 4. It’s easier to check in with fewer guests than more.

No problem. All they need is to give them your name, and they’ll be seated.
