ADR question

This happens to us every year and it sucks!!!

We started out with 8 people going on the trip next month, and now we are down to 2 people, but our ADR's are for 8 (or 6) people.

Do I call disney and request that they be downsized to 2 people.

Or

Will disney make me cancel my 8 person reservations and TRY to get new reservations???

With that much of a change in your party size, I would call them and change your ressies. If you were trying to change your ressies from 2 to 6 or 8 that may be a problem, but down to 2 should not be a problem at all.

Yeah it kind of sucks. We rented a 3 bedroom 2 bath townhouse in kissimmee, then we were given 4 ....4-day tickets and a 3 day disney value hotel stay. But, everyone bailed on us, leaving only the two of us. I am calling everyone I know to see if they want a (just pay for food) vacation to disney world. lol

I don't think they make you cancel and re-ADR, they'll just adjust the number of diners. The only thing I'd check into is if you ended up with some dining times you weren't thrilled with because of the original large party, you might be in a better position for time slots with just two.

And, please do cancel as soon as possible because with the DDP even the slower times of year are getting booked solid at some places. You'll open up a table or two at each of these restaurants when you downsize.
