ADR Probkems this morning?

Hi,

Is anyone else trying to book ADRs this morning?

All our reservations are linked in MDE and I can choose a date including my 180+10 (up to August 24th) but it will only provide me with results for August 14th (exactly 180 days away).

I've tried it logged in as me and my husband (booking is in his name) but it keeps saying "We're sorry, there is a problem searching for Table Service reservations at this time."

I have also tried it on the website and via the app.
 
The app had been experiencing a lot of glitches this week. Can you call? It may save you a lot of frustration

I'm ready to call in 16 minutes!

Just so frustrated as I was hoping it would be really smooth going based ont he recent experiences of others :(

The app is also telling me that my husband and SIL don't have linked tickets, although they did before the upgrade. When hubby logs onto his own account his ticket is there. Not been able to check with SIL yet.

Made ADR this morning no problem, and all showing in my reservations.
Made all of my ressies on Mac/PC rather than using the app. I still thing there are a few issues with this yet (such as initially showing my ADR times an hour out of sync)
If you get chance, try on a computer and log in via website to see if it is any better.

I did try the PC, Nigel - three different browsers and no joy! Still will only let me book for August 14th (anything) even though I called and got everything up to and including 24th August!

Not really sure what is going on with it!
 
Are your correct accommodation dates showing on your booking?
Some friends of our, increased their length of stay but when it came to ADR time, the window was only allowing to book within their initial shorter stay dates.

Yes, everything is showing correctly. We haven't increased the length from the original two week booking but we do have two nights booked at Boardwalk Inn in the middle as well - that could do it I guess?

Other people on the August planning thread were also having trouble doing anything other than calling this morning.

At least we got what we wanted anyway!
 
I was having trouble but then booked an ADR for two days before we are due to arrive (we're on the same flight if you remember) and about ten minutes later all dates for my actual 180+10 opened up. I made all the ADRs I wanted and then cancelled the one we won't be there for.

I was able to do it all on the laptop - didn't try the app as I always panic I'm going to press cancel accidentally!

I've seen this same issue for at least the past two years, where searching inside the 180+10 window results in the following errors:
"We're sorry, there is a problem searching for Table Service reservations at this time
We're sorry, there is a problem searching for Dining Event reservations at this time"

The latest time, I started searching for ADRs at 180 days of checkin and was able to successfully search for length of the entire stay (180+7 days), but then I started getting this error for 180+5 and beyond. The following day it's still not working for the same dates (now 180 + 4 and beyond). This issue always goes away at 180 days, but it's obviously annoying since it forces you to have to do all your ADRs over the phone (which is ironically faster since their website is slow/cumbersome).

Another annoyance is if you have multiple reservations you can only book the days of the first reservation (e.g. 1 day) online until 180 days from the second whereas over the phone they can book 180+10 from from the first reservation regardless of the length of the first stay.

Please report the issue when it occurs so it will get fixed if enough people report it. I have emailed support when it is happening in hopes they can look at their logs for my specific searches, but to no avail so far.

I had the very same problem when I was going to book my ADR's, to be honest you are better off calling them.
If you have the dates, times and where you want to go listed for yourself and ready to go the call to Disney should set you back no more than 15-20mins.

That is verses spending hours battling with MDE.

Yep, I create a spreadsheet of every day and plan out when/where I want to be for breakfast and dinner based on how late the parks are open the night before and where Extra Magic Hours are that night, then "pencil" in the restaurants and times. I ended up calling as well, and with the exception of BOG, was able to get every time I had planned +/- 10 minutes. BOG I had to book the last night of our stay since it was already sold out 180+7 days when I called. As much as I would prefer to do everything online without having to call places, be on hold, go through security questions, etc., I have to admit DVC MS (in my case) provide exceptional service and are extremely efficient--unlike the website :upsidedow

You forgot the latest one: "Someone has eaten this page"

I'm past the ADR stage but had to make FP reservations this weekend. It took me an hour and 40 minutes. I had everything ready so I knew exactly what I was looking for but the slow page load drew out what could have been done in 20 minutes into a much longer task.

I had to call to cancel an ADR a few weeks back because the site would not allow me to do it. Fun n Games!
 
I've found it much quicker to do FP on my i phone than online. On line was a mess today. No ADRs available for anything from the main screen but all fine if you went in via individual restaurant. Still very glitchy. I also got an invoice saying Disney owe me £65. They don't and had no idea what it was about when I called them but seems to have been triggered by me booking ME. Their techies must be working overtime!
