Going in November, ADR 180 window is tomorrow morning. Trying to get a CRT lunch res. for day 5 of vacation. Just want to verify I understand a couple of principals first. So if staying on property, I can make the CRT reservation tomorrow? Since it's so hard to secure, I want to make that reservation first, before I make reservations for say Day 1 or Day 2? When I get the cast member on the phone and say my spiel about wanting CRT and date and number in party etc, won't that draw them into a conversation about the 180 day window and that I'm calling at 185 days and to call back; or will they start looking for a reservation on the date I want? Guess I just don't want to waste time on chit chat and explanations. Not sure if I've worded the question right, but it is my understanding you want the CM to start searching for times in the computer right away and get them to hold it right away before it is snatched up by someone else. Should this maybe go on the planning board as well? Thanks in advance.

Call at 7 AM EST and tell them what you want. I have had no probs getting ADRs this week for Nov- including the date and time I wanted for CRT. You will have no trouble.

Lunch is not as difficult to get as breakfast. Since you need to give them your reservation number, they will know when you are checking in and that you are staying onsite. Here's a tip...if you are planning on going to BBB, call that number and when that is complete, that CM can make your ADRs for you. I had DH call for BBB reservations on one phone while I tried to get through for ADRs on another. He got through before I did and the CM asked if we needed ADRs as well. I got 8 am at the MK BBB and 12 for CRT, for 5 people, no problem. I got all of my ADRs and only 2 (of 10) were not within 5 minutes of what I wanted. Those I got 30 minutes later than I wanted and one was Le Cellier. Good luck!:)

Although it's always best to get your ADRs as soon as possible to make sure you get exactly what you want, it' doesn't seem that CRT is nearly as hard to get as it was in the past. I had read about how hard it was to get and that if you had to call 180 days out or forget it unless you happen to call right after someone cancels so I didn't bother to try to get a reservation. Then I decided to try for a dinner reservation about 75 days out and they had a ton of openings available. I was then told that that was because it's dinner which doesn't have the princesses. So then I called and asked for lunch 44 days out when I had to move things around and the CM said I had some pixie dust coming at me (she made it sound like I was so lucky.) When the time she gave me was in direct conflict with my daughters BBB appointment I said, darn that's too early...she then listed off a bunch of other times and I was able to get exactly what I wanted. I don't think it is as hard to get as it once was. I know I'm not answering your question but I just wanted to let you know....

It's definitely not as hard to get as it once was. I think there are less people eating there because of the pre-payment and the exhorbitant pricing for the meal. Makes getting reservations much easier, though!

I just got a Sept breakfast date for CRT about a week ago and she told me there were 3 to choose from. I took one but DH and I wanted later, so I called back every other day since and got later. Long story short, you'll get it regardless of a little chit chat or not :)
