ADR open up day of?

Just wondering if ADR's open up or people cancel that day of I am trying to get into the hoop de doo review, Chef Mickey's, Tony's and Cape May. Any Luck I have been calling 7 times a day and we just made plans to go to disney last week for next week so everything has been booked.

It's possible but not very likely. I would have backups.

I agree, it is not likely - but do keep trying.
Once, in many trips, we cancelled the day of. I did call Disney Dining so that ADR should have become availabe.
We call from our room at the Poly in the fall to make some changes to ADR's and we never were able to.
Can you find some backup restaurants that will meet your need?

One day at MK, DH hurt his back. On our way out of the park after leaving the first aid station, we walked by the podium at Crystal Palace to cancel our "party of 2" dinner ressie for later. Standing behind us, was another couple wanting the same ressie (we didn't know that from the start). You would think that since we just canceled our ressie, this couple could have the spot...nope. The attendant would not give it to them. If I had known, I would have tried to change the name on ours to theirs rather than cancel it, but I don't know if that would have worked, either.

Last trip I got a lunch & a dinner slot at CRT. I'd been trying for at least 3 previous trips to eat at the castle, so I couldn't pass up two that became available the morning of. So give it a try. Wishes do come true!

In August 2006 while waiting in the lobby Concierge line at the Contemporary I overheard a Cast Member confirming to a guest that she got them an ADR for that day at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, at the earliest possible time and this was during the free dinning period. My guess is someone had cancelled at the last minute and this guest was able to get their ADR, so things like that have happened from time to time. However I would the chances of that happening again is less then 5%.
