ADR-online booking or via telephone

Ok!!!
So, here are a few of my questions!

When you are able to start booking online ADR's does it start at midnight the day of or when the call center opens up for ADR?

if it opens up at midnight has anyone used it and found it to be just as fast and easy as calling?

If it doesn't open up at midnight and opens up when the call center opens for ADR, what is a better bet to get in to the places we like?

I called the last time we went the morning of, the hour of, and still was unable to get into places we wanted to! BOO!

Hope this isn't too confusing, but I could definitley use some suggestions!!

I don't know if anything has changed since more of the phone booking has gone automated, but from my experiences...the website allows you to book 180 days out 1-hour before the phones open up. So, if you're on eastern time, you could start booking online at 6am (versus waiting until 7am to call). Everything is pretty much hooked up to the same system plus if things are still the same way, you get a jump on things online...so I much prefer doing it online.

i did mine online this morning, and got everything i wanted. i did them about 8am online

If you are staying at a Disney resort you can make up to 10 days of reservations at your 180 day mark. That is what 180+10 means.

If the system is working correctly then you should be able to plug in your Resort Reservation number and be able to book all of your ADRs 180+10 days out. Unfortunately there has been lots of problems with the online booking where the website is not seeing the resort reservation numbers therefore you will have to call anyways to book all of your ADRs. This happened to me this past Sunday and it has been happening to a ton of other people too (there are threads regarding this subject). Technically it should be faster to just book your ADRs online, but instead of going through the headache of the website not finding your resort reservation number and you worrying and wondering why not, I would just go ahead and call the dining line and do them all over the phone. When I called, I got everything I wanted (except one) at the times I wanted too. The one I didn't get on Sunday I called back on Monday morning and was able to get that one plus the time I wanted also. Good luck making your ADRs, maybe when you go to do yours the online booking will be up and running again .
