ADR linked to Room Ressies

I used my reservation number to make ADRs so that I could go 10 days out of course, but I have a question. What happens if we change our reservation because of a deal, code, etc? I know in the past I've been given a new reservation and number for the same dates when changing. That won't cause my ADRs to be cancelled will it?

Your dining reservation are separate from your room reservation. The only reason you had to give the resort reservation number was to verify you were eligible for the +10 days. After that, you could completely cancel any Disney resort reservation you have and all the dining plans would remain unchanged.

Thanks. I knew it had always been like that, but was a little worried due to the new online reservation system.
