Hey all,

We will be in Epcot on April 25th and have an ADR at La Hacienda at 830 -- is this pretty good timing to watch illuminations? Thanks for any help you can provide!

I've read that very few tables have a view of Illuminations. The ones that have a view are excellent (according to photos), but there aren't many. If you are going to eat at Hacienda because you want to watch Illuminations, you might want to consider eating early and then finding a place around WS lagoon to watch the show.

Agreed, I wouldn't go here if your main interest is watching Illuminations - but if you want the food, and Illuminations would be a nice bonus, then it's a better deal. There aren't a great many tables with good views and you cannot be guaranteed one, nor do they allow requests for one. About a third of the restaurant has no view of the lagoon at all. And they don't have an outdoor special viewing area like Rose & Crown does.

The number of tables that have a view of Illuminations are very limited and they are not guaranteed. If seeing Illuminations is important to you, you may want to see it from the promenade, not the restaurant

I agree with the other posters - if seeing Illuminations is your main priority then the restaurant may not be your best choice. We have eaten at La Hacienda several time to see Illuminations and I usually make our reservation for 7:30pm. I usually try to check-in early if they will let me because they have been running behind the last 2 times we have been there.
