ADR Hold Times - 2/23/2009 - Chat and Vent Here!!

Is anyone else having a heck of a time getting ADRs for 5/26 on??? I stayed on hold for 40 minutes this morning before I gave up. The CM had warned me they've been experiencing 2 1/2 hour waits! She suggested calling back this evening so here I am on hold again - going on 30 minutes. I'm sorry but this is absolutely ridiculous. I have a full-time job and I simply do not have time to sit on the phone for hours at a time. I can't believe this can't be managed better. I am going to have to leave in 15 minutes so now that will be another 45 minutes wasted on hold trying to get ADRs!!!!!!

Yesterday it was taking over 3 hours with upto 200 in the queue.

I was on hold on the dining line yesterday morning and called to book my tour and the CM asked if I wanted to do ADRs. Needless to say, I said heck yeah.

I started at 7 am and I was on hold for 15 minutes at first and got excited because a CM came on the line but was only able to book 5/24 and 5/25 and was then transferred to a CM who would have to do the reservations from 5/26 on; well I was then on hold for 1.5 hours and then had to hang up because I had to go to work. This afternoon, I was on hold for 70 minutes before I was able to make reservations. The poor CM on the phone then keep apologizing because the system would go down every so often so after another 30 minutes I was able to get all but 1 of the reservations that I wanted(Le Cellier was booked for the day I wanted but we will go to France for dinner instead) ,

What a hassle but will be worth it in the end!!!

My husband held for 37 minutes this morning at 8 a.m. before he had to hang up and go to work! He's on hold again now...has been for a few minutes. I hope he doesn't have to give up again! It's crazy!

ETA: Okay, he finally got through. 50 minutes of holding!
