ADR Help

Hello on our arrival day I will be coming in at 2:20 and will be using Magical Express .I would like to book a ADR that evening. We are staying at POP.I am trying to get a Idea what would be a safe time to book I am thinking 7pm.What do you guys think?Thanks

There are far better experts out here -

but I will attempt this...

If you come in at 2:20 - it will take you time from your plane to get to ME - maybe 20 min - so plan on 30! (no running!)

If you plan on 45 min - 1 hour for magical express (and there have been times when I've had to wait in that ME line to get on the bus for 15 min! or wait on the bus till the bus is completely full! another 15 min!)

then you may have to wait to check in at pop - another 20 min

Plan on 30 min for a bus (worst case scenario - realistically its probably closer to 20 min)

so it looks like a 7pm adr sounds reasonable to me!!

others with experience will surely chime in!

I think that if you're arriving at 2:20, you should have plenty of time to get to a 7pm ADR.

The ME usually takes about 60-90 from plane to hotel, then some time to check-in, maybe 30-45 from arrival to room....even if you really err on the side of caution, those two things would put you around 5:00. Allow another hour to get from your room, onto transportation and into a park/resort to get to your ADR. That gets you to 6pm.

If you're extra cautious and worried about flight delays etc, then I would do 7pm. Otherwise, I think I might try for a little earlier? Maybe 6-6:30?

In March, we landed in Orlando at 4:05, and were sitting at Ohana for dinner at 6:45.

When I made our arrival ADR, the CM suggested we space out 3 hours between landing and the ADR time, "just in case"........

We too land at 2:20 in a few weeks time. We are staying at AKL and I booked a 7:00 ADR at Boma. I suspect we will get to AKL long before that time, but then we have enough time to unpack, have a little look around the resort etc before dinner.
