My twin boys will be turning 4 in May during our first trip to Disney. We plan on spending the day at MK.
If only choosing one, what ADR should I make for their birthday and should I do it for bfast, lunch or dinner?:confused3

thanks

Do they normally get up early? What meal would you say they enjoy the most (breakfast, lunch or dinner)? Also think about when they are more likely to eat-character meals are hard for kids to focus on the food if they haven't done them before as there are so many things happening. I would tell them a bit about how character meals work so they don't feel overwhelmed and also know that the characters will come to them.

My pick would be Crystal Palace for any of the meals. I would prefer breakfast before the park opens, but that's because breakfast is my favorite and I like being one of the first people (guests) in the park. I also love getting those photos of the castle without lots of people in the photo.

Crystal Palace has Winnie the Pooh and friends.

Hi Saffire! We're just about to leave for our pre-schooler's birthday trip!

As for "where," I'd suggest choosing based on your boys' character interests. We have three boys, and they all love Mickey, Chip and Dale - so we always make an ADR at Garden Grill. But our youngest son recently became very interested in princesses - especially Belle - so we made an ADR for Akershus on his birthday.

As for the "when," I'd suggest identifying the time of day that your boys are most likely to be awake and happy! Our birthday boy's ADR is for dinner, but that's only because his birthday falls on our arrival day so a breakfast ADR is not an option. We're going to CRT the next day, and I wanted to make sure that we had a breakfast ADR because that's the time of day that he's least likely to be tired or crabby.

Have a great trip!!:wizard:

P.S. If they have never done character meals before, you might show them videos of kids meeting characters at meals on youtube before your trip. Our youngest son loves those videos - it helped prepare him for the experience and got him really excited about our trips!
