ADR for Trails End?

Just wondered if we might need an ADR to eat at Trails End in FW for supper. We'd be there mid-week in January, so I can't imagine we would. I really don't want to make an ADR, since I'm not sure what time we'd wander over there from MK either. Think we can wing this one?

I would try and make on ejust in case. Then if you needed to change it, or arrive early then youll be better off. Late Jan isnt that busy of a time but you just never know. Or you can wait until the morning you want to eat there and call and make one ..maybe then youll have a better idea of what time you would like to eat. I have never eaten there so I dont know if it is particualrly busy.

I agree that it's hard to imagine needing an ADR at Trail's End on a a January midweek evening, but then again, what would it hurt to have one? If you end up cancelling or showing up early or late, chances are it won't make that much of a difference, but with the way things have been going at WDW restaurants, it's beginning to look like all the old presuppositions may no longer be valid. It seems like MYW dining has made all the restaurants much more popular, and that counting on getting in anywhere without an ADR these days could be risky.

I agree with LiteBrite. The dining plan has changed the rules on needing ADR's. If it's a restaurant where you know you'll want to dine, I would suggest making an ADR - even if it's a restaurant where you wouldn't have needed one in the past. An ADR still may not be needed for Trail's End in January, but it won't hurt having one. You aren't obligated by making an ADR. If the time you make it for doesn't work out that day, you can always cancel it. But at least you'll have the ADR in case you get there and find that you need it.
