I was wondering if anyone could tell me if all of the restaurants take ADR's for large groups and if so, what a good one would be for a group. We will be a group of 6 families (probably about 25 people altogether) who will be at Disney in Jan. over MLK weekend for a soccer tournament. All of the families will have arrived by Friday evening, so we were wanting to all go to dinner then. Most of the families will be at MK that day, so we are thinking somewhere in or near there. We were thinking of the Poly luau, but I'm not sure everyone will want to spend that much. This may all be a mute point, anyway, as we are less than 3 months away and I've heard MLK weekend can be crowded, so there may not be much available. Thanks for any thoughts you might have!

Yup. IMO, you are cutting it very close! I would call group dining and see where they can put you. One of the character meals out of the parks would be best. Good luck!

Thanks for the tip on talking to "Group Dining." I didn't know they had that department! I will call them.

Definitely call Group Dining. You have to go through them for parties of 12 or more. We had 13 on our recent trip and it worked out great. Many times they said they would have to seat us at separate tables and they may not be near each other, but every time the tables were either one long table or two tables right next to each other. Worked out great. It is easier to get seated together if you take the first seating for that meal. We did Ohana breakfast, Crystal Palace, 50s Prime Time, Mama Melrose, and Coral Reef as a group. We split up for a few others into smaller groups--CRT, PSB.

Good luck!

Good luck with your ressies - I coordinated most of them for our Grand Gathering of 21 back in February. Many times we found it easier to have an early dinner - arriving at most restaurants at opening time - and it was easier to get tables together, they were very accommodating for the most part.
Also, buffets are usually quicker to get big groups in and out and back to the parks!
We ate at:
Chef Mickey's
Boma
O'Hana
Crystal Palace
LeCellier
