ADR For Just Appetizers/Desserts?

Is it permissible to make a reservation at Raglan Road for late evening but only order drinks and dessert? Or appetizers? I want to take DH out and enjoy the band one night without the rest of the crew, but we will already have eaten with our group, and will probably not be terribly hungry. I imagine it's ALLOWED, but will the waiter or waitress be annoyed that we are taking up a table that could have seated guests who are eating more (or tipping more)?

Or would we be better off just walking up to the bar?

I know, I'm stressing too much - I'm in the "I'm too excited to sleep" phase of waiting!

There'll be people there just drinking; I can't imagine anyone would have a problem with some people having an appetizer and the bread pudding and enjoying the entertainment.
