If my ADR is for 11am and they close at 11:30 (per allears) do they kick us out at 11:20 or do we get to finish our meal?

Will the characters be rushed or more likely to stay around leisurely?

Thoughts in general about getting such a late ADR in relation to closing time??

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know specifically for CM, but we had a right-before-closing ADR at Liberty Tree Tavern once, and it was wonderful. There was only one other family, and the characters spent a LOT of time with us. Then they goofed around, acting out a play-fight, tying a tablecloth on as a cape and "flying", etc. We got some GREAT pics :goodvibes When we were done, we were escorted back to Main Street (since the park had closed). It's one of my favorite DW memories.

We had an 11:20 ADR at CM last year. Didn't get seated until 11:40, and they were still seating people after us. We still had fresh food, and great character interactions. We saw all the characters twice. We made a late ADR for breakfast again this year so we can go to MK EMH before we go to our ADR. Don't worry, you will be fine.

You have absolutely nothing to worry about! The closing time signifies the latest a guest can make a reservation. Parties will be seated well after your group! The characters will be just as active as ever, and you will not feel rushed to finish your meal and leave.

we did this, took the latest ressie time, and made it our "lunch" it was fantastic, we were not rushed at all and there was plenty of fresh food out also. characters were great!

I have to say that on more than one occasion when we've done a late seating for a meal that the characters were less than fresh in terms of attitude. Usually at Chef Mickeys or Cape May - we tend to book a late breakfast on check out day when we're at BLT or BCV. They just seemed worn out and over making the rounds. When we've had earlier seatings we've always had more enthusiastic character interraction. As to feeling rushed, I don't recall that being the case, but the food isn't necessarily going to be the freshest either if you're planning on eating for a while.
