Hello!
My husband and I will be celebrating our anniversary at Disney in a few weeks and want to try mostly new restaurants this trip, as well as re-visit a couple old favorites. We are both foodies/adventurous eaters, gluten-free, and love meat. My husband likes seafood but I am allergic. Any feedback on our choices would be greatly appreciated, especially if there is a better recommendation for our anniversary dinner, open to changing things around. Originally had Boma, Cali Grille, Artist Point on the list, but there just aren't enough meals! Oh and we've been to Sanaa already and thought it was pretty basic Indian food so won't re-visit this trip. Thank you!

Currently, our plans and ADR's are:

Day 1 - MK (afternoon arrival)
lunch: ---
dinner: Skipper Canteen (an old favorite)

Day 2 - HS (our anniversary)
lunch: Brown Derby Lounge (another favorite)
dinner: Narcoossee's (8:30) to coincide with MK fireworks (never been here before)

Day 3 - MK
lunch: Be Our Guest (new to us)
dinner: Jiko before Rivers of Light (also new to us)

Day 4 - EP
lunch: snacks at Flower & Garden
dinner: Yachtsman (never been, but we both love a good steak)

Day 5 - MK
lunch: Be Our Guest
dinner: Mama Melrose before Star Wars fireworks (never been, read that they have a great steak)

Day 6: AK
lunch: Nomad Lounge or Tiffins (never been to either)
dinner: Le Cellier (new to us but loved the filet at Food & Wine)

Day 7: AK
lunch: Nomad Lounge or Tiffins
dinner: Raglan Road (old favorite), the Edison for drinks/entertainment afterwards (new venue)

Day 8 - no parks (evening departure)
lunch: the Boathouse (again, new to us)

Thanks again : )

I think it looks like a great list!
I would think about jumping around so many parks. You can spend a lot of time transfering between parks. I would try and simplify that.
At AK, we love Tiffins and Nomad lounge. i would also consider Satu'li Canteen.

On Day 5, if you were staying at MK for fireworks, I would go to California Grill. They have one of the best steaks at WDW. I would consider staying in MK for fireworks. They have enough amazing projections on the castle that you cannot see from Contempory or Grand Floridian.

I would consider moving Jiko to Day 7 and watching Rivers of light and then go to the Edison after.
That lets you stay at HS on day 2 eat at MM and see Star Wars fireworks without so much park hopping.

dinner: Skipper Canteen (an old favorite)

I've yet to eat at Skipper Canteen, but can vouch for the fact that Liberty Tree Tavern is still on point as of trip earlier this month.

Haven't been in years and am interested myself, but we've stayed away due to quite a few negative reviews recently.

Went in December - great steak, everything else just "ok". If you love beef as you say, don't deny yourself Shula's at the Swan & Dolphin, which is often held as the best on property.

Thanks, we usually hit the parks for the morning, then take an afternoon break at pool, and then head back to a different park for dinner/evening plans.

Ah, was definitely considering Cali Grill, so many places to choose from!

I would consider moving Jiko to Day 7 and watching Rivers of light and then go to the Edison after.

Unfortunately, we have to do River of Light on Day 3 because we're meeting friends there. Thanks for all the tips!

Hmm, yeah I saw mixed reviews of Narcoossee's too but was drawn to the grass-fed filet, which seems to be the only one on Disney property as far as I can see from the menus I've peeked at...

Ooh ok I hadn't even thought of Shula's - last time we tried to hit Swan/Dolphin, we didn't know it wasn't Disney owned and only had magic bands, no credit cards - pretty embarrassing to order drinks at Kimono's only to find out afterwards! I will try to book Shula's and will make sure to bring my visa that day : )
