I am looking to make an ADR for an evening where we will be at the MK until 7 when it closes for MNSSHP. It gave me Tony's as an option for 7:20. Can I eat here without going to the party?

I was told LAST week when we went to change our ADR, that we HAD to have a MNSSHP ticket in order to eat inside the park.

I was totally bummed, so we had to switch things around because we will not be attending the party.
:-(

Thanks! I decided to go ahead and make it while I was waiting for an answer, since we would like to eat there, and I can never get ADRs when I want them there. But when I tried, it told me I needed to have a ticket to MNSSHP to dine there. Oh well...

We have a late CP ADR and were told they would have a CM escort us to and from the restaurant, so no ticket would be needed. Wonder who's right??

In the past, the restaurants have required a ticket for any ADR starting roughly 15 minutes BEFORE the party starts. This is to prevent people from taking in the party atmosphere without paying the extra for it. Now, if you're in a meal and your ADR is "fine" (that is, starts before that cutoff time), then when you exit you will be escorted. I have just never heard of anyone being escorted into a restaurant past party time.

In regards to CP, I'd err on the side of caution here, since it DOES require a $10pp hold and if you miss it (due to not being able to get in during the party), you will be charged that. The dining line CMs are notorious for poor and incorrect information regarding day to day park operations, so that's another bit that would cause me to mistrust what they have said.

I'd keep looking for an earlier one on that party night for sure, and see if you can shift schedules around to place it on a non-party night if need be. I, personally, wouldn't even think of trying to keep an in-park ADR after party start time without the ticket.

If you do not have party tickets you will not be allowed to dine if your ADR is for after 7:00PM on party nights. They won't even allow you into the park without those tickets. There are NO CMs to escort you to the restaurant during party hours.

When I called, I specifically asked if I needed a ticket to have an ADR during MNSSHP. I will call again, I guess, since I don't want to be screwed!

Based on experience, if you make an ADR for 6:45 OR EARLIER, they will let you eat at the resturant. However, as soon as you are done eating, someone from the resturant WILL escort you out of the park, directly to the front gate with no stopping.

If you are already in the park and have an ADR for 6:45 or LATER and you check-in at the resturant, they WILL ask to see your party ticket. If you do not have one they will not let you stay there.

You will not be allowed to enter the park without a party ticket from 6:45 on. If you are already in the park, see above.

The reservation CMs honestly don't know a dang thing sometimes. I would take information HERE before I would turn to the phone CMs.

The dining CM's usually do not even work in Florida. I have gotten many that work outside the state and I can distinctly hear children, tv, etc in the backgrounds. They use an outside hiring company called Arise. They are by far the LAST people I would trust with accurate info!

Information you get from a CM at a telephone call center is worth twice the paper it's written on!

The posters here are right, the CM you spoke to was mininformed.

And just to check, I just tried to make and ADR at Tony's at 7:20pm on December 11th. This popped up before I entered any information:

Please note that this reservation occurs during a special event that requires the purchase of a separate admission ticket.

We were making a reservation through the club level planning staff at the BWI and they reminded me we would need a party ticket if our reservation was for 6:45 or later
