Its really not that bad, I just wanted to get your attention!

Our ADRs @Le Cellier on 9/9 and @Tusker House (Donald's Safari Breakfast) 9/10 are both for four people and there are five in our party...
I have tried unsuccessfully tried to secure a table for 5 :sad2:
We are planning on just showing up and hoping they will be able to accommodate the extra person...I have received mixed feedback regarding this...some people have said no problem, you may have to wait a few extra minutes to be seated, others have said, no way...:worried:
I need some advice on how I should best handle this situation...I will continue to call, someone suggested talking to the concierge (we are staying @Pop) when we get there to see if there is anything they can do...

Have you tried calling those restaurants directly and see what they say about it?

this is no problem at all.! I joined my sister and her family at CRT with no problem. They had a reservation for 4 and with me it made 5. We just went up to the podium and when they said "table for 4"....we said "no we need 5". I would NOT call the restaurant....then they can note that you tried to change your reservation to 5.

Wow...even at CRT :yay:
I'm impressed! What time of year was it?

If it was me, I would just show up and hope for the best. Surely, they will be able to add one extra chair. Good Luck. Hope it all works out for you.

We added and extra 2 weeks before our sept. trip last year, and not one place we went to had a problem.

We just came back from free dining and had made all of our reservations for 5 people. We were successful both times we asked to add 2 people to our table. They said it might take a few extra minutes, but I don't even think it did.

I spoke with a CM at AK and she said of all the reservations that they get, they only expect 30% to show up!! I'm sure that's different during free dining but I was shocked.

You should be fine.

My daughter decided to join us at the last minute making us a party of 6 instead of 5. I was told that there wouldn't be a problem to add her. When I called to verify all of my ADR's I again asked if it would be a problem and then I was told yes. I was put on hold and after the rep. told me her supervisor had to make some calls and they were able to change everything except one. I was certain that is was for LeCellier's but I was wrong, I was for BOMA. They were able to get me in at a later time, but I would MAKE sure BEFORE you go. That is just me, I seem to freak abit.

I have mercurial family members that decide LAST minute to meet up with us at WDW. We have NEVER had a problem showing up with 1 or 2 extra people. We just explain the situation at the front desk of the restaurant.:)

Wish I had something to offer you, as I know how hard you've tried, but we don't have either of those, or anything for more than 4, for that matter.

Just show up, making sure to sport plenty of Diva bling. They wouldn't dream of turning away a Diva, now would they?

Seriously, I would just show up. If it would make you feel better, make an extra ADR or two just in case, so you don't have to worry about losing credits. Or resign yourself to an extra CS meal (plus 2 extra snacks!) in World Showcase, in between the margarita stand and the grey goose slushie stand, LOL. If only you could use those snack credits for alcohol!

Your on a roll tonight girlfriend! :rotfl:  :rotfl:

This makes me feel so much better. My Ohana's ADR got messed up. It was supposed to be for 4 but for some reason when I checked all my ADRs it was only for 3. I hope we don't have a problem.

to a friend of mine who just returned yesterday from their trip... Her nephew ended up going with them, and hearing mixed suggestions about whether to change their ADR's or just show up with the extra kid, they decided to risk it and not change their ressies... Apparantly a big mistake... They were only able to get seated with the extra child in 2 of their 9 restaurants that they originally had ADR's for :scared1: ... We leave on 9/12 with an extra child.. Glad I went with my gut and changed our reservations ahead of time... Would be heartbroken to get down there and turned away for having and extra person... The best of luck to you whatever you decide!

I have a crt reservation in January for 4. We have 5 in our party but dh is fine sleeping in and meeting us later. I called yesterday to add a different reservation and checked on adding a 5th to CRT. I was told that there was a lot of availibility for tables for 6 but they couldn't do a table for 5. Oh well, dh says he sees his princesses (our two dds) every day.
