ADR crisis

We just returned a week ago from a trip to WDW. Originally there were 4 in our party (when I made our ADRs). Then my DH decided to join us. We were able to change our ADRs for a few places but for the most part we had to keep our reservations for a party of 4. We went to each and every ADR and NEVER had a problem in adding another person to our party even though many of the restaurants were very busy!!!

This is the second trip where this has happened and in more than 15 different meals at about 12 different establishments throughout WDW, we NEVER had a problem in them accomodating our larger party size!

to a friend of mine who just returned yesterday from their trip... Her nephew ended up going with them, and hearing mixed suggestions about whether to change their ADR's or just show up with the extra kid, they decided to risk it and not change their ressies... Apparantly a big mistake... They were only able to get seated with the extra child in 2 of their 9 restaurants that they originally had ADR's for ... We leave on 9/12 with an extra child.. Glad I went with my gut and changed our reservations ahead of time... Would be heartbroken to get down there and turned away for having and extra person... The best of luck to you whatever you decide!

When are ya' coming to Texas...we have some mighty good margaritas here!

We'll be there 9/20-9/23 on a "scouting trip." 2 days in Austin, 1 in Galveston. And I'm very much looking forward to some Texas 'ritas!

I have tried (so far unsuccessfully) to contact the Disboarders who had given me the ADRs I am concerned about....I know one has already left for her trip, the other one seems to be avoiding me which is troublesome...
They both have given me the confirmation # and the last name its under but I don't have the phone # the ADR is under so I can call and makeup a story about transferring the ADR...
Kinda hoping Hurricane Ike will work in our favor...people are reconsidering their trips hence the resturants won't be quite so crowded and therefore more flexible

Its really not that bad, I just wanted to get your attention!

Our ADRs @Le Cellier on 9/9 and @Tusker House (Donald's Safari Breakfast) 9/10 are both for four people and there are five in our party...
I have tried unsuccessfully tried to secure a table for 5
We are planning on just showing up and hoping they will be able to accommodate the extra person...I have received mixed feedback regarding this...some people have said no problem, you may have to wait a few extra minutes to be seated, others have said, no way...
I need some advice on how I should best handle this situation...I will continue to call, someone suggested talking to the concierge (we are staying @Pop) when we get there to see if there is anything they can do...

Heres what ended up happening: As expected the ADR @Tusker House was not a problem...they didn't even flinch when I told them @the podium there were 5 instead of 4.
Le Cellier was an entirely different situation...I was very anxious about this one because although I had the Disboarder's name and confirmation# when I tried to contact her several times (via pm and email) before our trip I got no response. When we got to the podium @Le Cellier and I gave them the confirmation# I had been given they said the ADR had been canceled! Luckily we had made friends with a Dream Team member who escorted us to Le Cellier and she pulled a few strings and we were seated (all 5 of us!) within 5 minutes! Actually saw the Disboarder who gave me the Le Cellier ADR in passing twice during our visit but didn't speak to her because I didn't want to spoil the magic by asking what happened especially since it all worked out in the end
