I have made many ADRs for our trip in July, and I wrote down all the restaurtant names, dates, times, and confirmation numbers. We've used the DDP and made ADRs in the past, and normally we never used the confirmation #'s, we just had to go up and say "4 for Smith at 5:00 pm." And they found them and seated us. Since it seems like the DDP and ADRs are more popular than ever, will it be very important that you have your confirmation number and you'll have to go up and say "4 for Smith at 5:00 pm, # 45839012."? I guess I don't mind having to do that, but then I'll have to carry around a paper which - knowing me - I'll lose. Normally I just kept the info. in the hotel room, glanced at it before we left in the AM and said "Oh okay, dinner at 5 pm. at Crystal Palace. I'll remember." versus having to remember the number. Does anyone know if the Confirmation # is that important in the parks? :confused3

I always carry my confirm# in my backpack never had to use it except to remember where and when I'm dining that day but mistakes happen you never know and like you said with it being so poplar I think its a good idea. I also make a copy and leave it in the room in case I would loose it .They also will give yu a print out at your resort desk.

I have had to use mine once (OK twice but I knew I needed it to get into Epcot early for princess breakfast so that doesnt really count) The first time to Le Cellier, they had murderd my last name, It wasnt even close. She must of typed a D instead of the real letter. So then having the number helped me out.

I just tape the adr sheet I type up into my front cover of the passporter and I am good to go!

I store all my ADR numbers in my CELL PHONE!!! I even put them on the calendar function and set it to alarm 1 hour before the ADR as a reminder! My ADRs for October are already in there! I always have my cell phone with me at the parks. Of course I also have them written down in my Passporter too, but the phone is probably what I will use. I did this last year and it worked out great!

Ditto on needing the number a few times... my last name was so butchered they were missing vowels, etc.

ya never know how handy that number will come in... I make a spread sheet with all the ADRs projected park for the morning and evening, highlights of things we don't want to miss, etc.

You could always write/print them on a business card sized piece of paper, then slip that in your wallet. It's nice and small, and doesn't take up too much space. I pack light for park touring, so don't usually take a guide with me. I use the disboard style names for restaurants, like CM for Chef Mickey's, if the name is too long so it all fits on the card. If you have lots of ADR's you could always split them up on a few cards, and just take the one for that day.

I was wondering the same thing. I will pack my ADR list in our backpack. Is there any need to call like a week ahead of time and re-confirm?

I don't think you need to, but I always do. The CM's are always good about going through them all. You can also ask at guest services, if you are staying on site, and they can give you a print out of all your ADR's
