ADR Chef Mickeys / Valet Parking Question

I am here doing a soccer tournament with my DS, staying offsite and doing a one-day trip with DD to Magic Kingdom tomorrow. I have a dinner ADR at Chef Mickeys.

Can I valet park at the Contemporary in the morning tomorrow, go to Magic Kingdom, and then go do Chef Mickeys and leave from there? Just trying to save a little transportation time but don't want to do anything I shouldn't.

Yes you can. I have done it several times.

Chances are you shouldn't have any problems since you plan to valet park, although the security Cast Member at the guard gate might ask why you are planning to come so early, because they have a list of guests with ADR's and the times they are scheduled for.

if guard asks why you're there so early, tell him you want to tour the resort & then ask where the valet parking is. Every time I've done that, the whole attitude changes...once they know you intend to pay for parking they're happy to direct you. Keep in mind when they valet park your car they may park it over in Egypt (i.e., far, far away) but that's no difference to you because they will go fetch it when you come to get your car. Will cost you $12 to valet, plus a couple of $$ tip when you pick up the car - so basically about the same as parking in the theme park lots. And yes, it's wonderful at the end of your long day to sit down on the bench & wait for someone else to go get your car for you. Instead of taking ferry or monorail to the TTC, then taking a tram to parking lot, then walking a long row to find your car, then driving out with 1000s of others. When you valet park, you'll basically be exitting all by yourself, with a stop light right there at the exit to get you out on the Disney roads.
