Just found this on another web page

As of July 16, you will not be able to make any Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs) for any dates past January 15, 2009. ADRs needed for January 16, 2009 or later will not be able to be booked until October 15, with the following three exceptions: Chef Mickey's, Cinderella's Royal Table, and Victoria and Albert's.

It looks like Disney is preparing to move the reservations window from 180 days back to 90 days, with the exception of the three most-in-demand dining locations.

Nooo! I loved planning really far in advance. Fortunately, I leave the 2nd of January, so this won't affect my upcoming trip. I feel for those of you who's trips coincide with this date. That's just to bad. I really don't like this at all. When do you think they'll change it back?

Wishful thinking helps the mind. :rotfl:

The web page said it sounded like they were making a permanent change:confused3

There is another thread out there - cannot find it now, but just read it this morning. Basically - the rumor is that 180 days is still going to be the normal. But, DWDining is switching to a new ADR system that will change the days to 90 temporarily.

I'll keep searching for the other thread.

a couple of threads discussing this. It appears that Disney is moving to a new reservation system. During the process they will shorten the window. Eventually the window will be lengthened back to 180 days. It has been reported that the target date is completion in the fall of next year. CM, CRT and V&A are supposed to remain 180 days.

I'm interested in what, if any, upgrades will be in the new system.
