ADR Cancellation Issue

Is anyone else having trouble when cancelling ADRs? I go into MDE, cancel an ADR, receive a cancellation e-mail with cancellation number, and yet the ADR still shows in MDE.

The ADR says I need to call to cancel, crashes when I view details, but will allow me to update guests.

Figured I would check here before calling.
 
We've had glitches similar to this in the past, as long as you keep your cancellation email so you can challenge it if you get charged. You can also ring for free from your in room phone (if staying on site) to confirm it's been cancelled.
 
Yes, today. Tried to cancel o'hana and got the confirmation email...still shows on MDE and won't let me book another adr in its place...now CRT is showing no availability...grrr.

Grrr that is frustrating!!! I'm trying to reserve Easter brunch at The Wave but the system is saying it conflicts with a Crystal Palace ADR I already cancelled. Definitely annoying!
 

Yes! I cancelled a few and they are still showing up. I assume they will eventually go away. In MDE, they just show the 'changed reservation' link and not the cancellation one. But all the ones that I did make that I am keeping still show the cancel options. Gotta love glitches!
 
I am having the same problem. Frustrating.

1) Computer programs and systems are only as good as the programmers.
2) Since Disney terminated so many programmers, the software is getting worse.
. . . when they dumped the programmers, they hired outside
. . . in fact, many programmers complained about having to train their replacements
. . . it was a pretty big negative PR program fro Disney
3) Ask almost anyone working with the dining system.
 
When I called, the CM gladly checked all the reservations I cancelled to ensure I would not be charged (thus far). It is just frustrating, especially like other people mentioned not being able to book another ADR in its place! Heading down Thursday, and it looks like someone else in my party will need to book replacement meals if needed since it has been over 12 hours and they have not dropped off.

Hopefully Disney figures this one out. I do not want to have one slip through the cracks and pay for the no show fee! Now I am tracking all those cancellations on a spreadsheet... sigh
