Does anyone know when you have to cancel an ADR by in order not to be charged? I know it's 2 days before but is it exactly 48 hrs? If I have an 8:30am for a Wednesday morning does is need to be canceled before 8:30am on the preceding Monday? Or can I cancel Wednesday ADRs anytime that preceding Monday?

Actually, it's the night before.
So if I needed to cancel a breakfast for tomorrow, so long as I did it before bed tonight I'd be golden.

For most reservations, the on-line cancellation cut-off is midnight Eastern time the night before the reservation. Some restaurants have a more stringent policy, which will be reflected in the ADR confirmation.

Only the pre-pay restaurants/events have 2 day cancellation policies. As PP's have noted, you can cancel regular TS's the night before.

CRT is pre-pay and has a one-day cancellation policy. I think the dinner shows have a two-day policy.

How about BOG Breakfast ADR?? Is the deadline still by 11:59pm the night before the ADR?? Can I do it online?

I tried to cancel a breakfast ressie the afternoon before by calling dining from the room and was told that I would be charged because it was less than 24 hours. When i said that it was OK to cancel anytime the day before, I was told that was not true. i was charged the cancellation fee of, I think, $10 per person. I would cancel a full 24 hours in advance after that experience! I wouldn't wait until the night before unless willing to pay up.

In your scenario, I would cancel by days end on Monday just to be sure. I would be concerned about not getting it cancelled on time on Tuesday morning.

The cancellation policy should be reflected on your reservation but most are by 11:59 pm the day before - even for breakfast the next day.

Last week I had to cancel a breakfast and I couldn't cancel online but when I called they took care of it without any issues

I also had a reservation I forgot to cancel during our trip and when I called to cancel (same day) they said they could offer a one time waiver of the cancelation fee. I'm not sure if this was a nice CM or standard practice but I was so thankful for that help.

Has anyone had trouble cancelling a breakfast or lunch ADR the night before recently??
