ADR bookings possible 'blip'

Forgive me if this has already been posted on the UK boards, but I haven't been over here for a few days (I know - naughty me!!) and I can't see it mentioned on the last couple of pages, so thought I would let you all know...

The adr system seems to have a 'blip' at the moment, and is letting you book at 190 days out - I have been able to make reservations up to and inc 14th Dec today (even though my booking window shouldn't officially open for my 180 + 10 until next monday - I arrive on 11th Dec)

It doesn't allow you to book 190 +10, so I am having to book online daily, but at least it beats waiting until next monday - infact, it works out I will have everything I want booked before my 'official' booking date opens next week!

Not sure if this is a system fault, or a planned thing, but it has been posted for a few days now on the restaurant boards, so just wanted to pass it on to anyone else who is going in Dec and waiting to book - hope that helps a little

Not sure if it was on here or the restaurant boards, but a few others have reported the same.

It must be an error on the system set up because the +10 is designed to be an exclusive perk for onsite guests. Unless it is doing this for onsite guests only at the moment (no point in me trying to check as my window is too far gone).

well I wish it would let meI fly out on 9th december, have given it a go and it wont let me, was worth a try though. Fingers crossed all the ressies i want wont dissapear in the meantime

It's not a typically hectic time you are going so you should be okay. Did you assiate your resort reservation before trying?

I know that some people have been having problems, did you put in your reservation number? Also, it will let you do it without putting in your arrival date (I think it is automtically coming up with todays date - if you leave that as it is, then you should be ok)

I did try with my resort res no and it wouldnt let me play, ah well, only 4 more days

when you put in your reservation no, did you change the date to your arrival date or leave it as todays date?

woop woop!!success!!! thankyou very much, I changed the date back to todays and I was in. the site is loading confirmation numbers very slowly though, and I mean I have been waiting for 1 for 5 minsbut an ADR I have, many thanks, you have made my night

oh brilliant - I'm really pleased - I just feel sorry for everyone else who doesn't know and are patiently waiting - hopefully there will be some good slots still left for them too!

Haha! We did but could not get a slot until 8:10pm , we managed to get 5:30 at whispering canyon cafe instead (our second choice) so I think were going to go with that we've never been and wilderness lodge with all the Christmas decorations will be awesome to show all the family.

WCC should be fun! We have a ressie there for our October trip! You can still check from time to time and if an opening comes up you could change. I know it means you have to phone to check though so not as easy as checking online. Still, at least you got a good restaurant at a decent time. You can do some humorous celebrating!

We could have had a reservation but have been sat seperately - which would have defeated the point!

Were really happy with whispering canyon, we have never been and its fun to try somewhere new - I want to get a big family photo in front of the Christmas tree
