Sorry, I'm sure this has been discussed before but I searched around and couldn't find the exact answer I was looking for. I see a lot of questions about strategy, I'm just trying to figure out the optimal process.

Our 60-day window opens on Sunday -- of course it has to be on Daylight Saving Time so will be a very early morning for me, so just want to make sure I have the booking process down pat so I don't mess anything up. I get that I should be able to book ADRs for the length of our 9-day stay once that window opens, but I'm trying to figure out exactly HOW I should go about it.

Do you search for each individual reservation one at a time, complete the booking process, and then move on to the next one?

If you do a search that includes all of the restaurants that you are looking for, can you multi-select each one and hold them in a "cart" and check out with all bookings at once?

Would I be able to do one on my MDE app, my wife do a different one on her MDE app, do one on the computer all in line with each other or would the system get messed up?

Just looking for advice on what people consider to be best-in-class process for booking, since we've never experienced it before!

Thank you!

This is the process. Strategy comes in relative to which ADR you search for and book first. You don’t need to work chronologically at all. If an ADR you want is difficult to get, book that one first (ask for help here in prioritizing).

Thank you so much! That's what I was thinking but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing some more efficient way of doing things. I think I have my prioritization down right, but in case I'm missing something. I'm starting with our park day dining since those are in-park and less flexible, and trying to go in order of booking difficulty/date/importance. Then all non-park days, same prioritization.

  1. 5/15 - Cinderella's Royal Table Dinner
  2. 5/8 - Teppan Edo Dinner + Garden Rocks Concert
  3. 5/10 - Sci-Fi Dine-in Dinner + Fantasmic Dining Package
  4. 5/13 - Tusker House Dinner
  5. 5/11 - Toplolino's Breakfast
  6. 5/12 - Sanaa or Boma Dinner
  7. 5/14 - Boma or Sanaa Dinner
  8. 5/9 - Toledo Dinner
Let me know if anything looks wildly off here!

Nothing looks wildly off to me, but others might have comments too - I haven't tried to book all of those restaurants recently.

I will point out that you need to be sure you're booking the Dining Package for the Teppan Edo and Sci-Fi meals. Dining Packages are listed separately from the regular ADRs, and sometimes you'll be required to book a lunch time as opposed to a dinner time. Disney does that to ensure that you finish eating in plenty of time to attend the performance.

Just my 2 cents:

I would do Topolino's first. Of everything on your list, it will be, by far, the hardest to get. Breakfast at Topolino's is in the top 5 most difficult ADRs to book. The good news is that it's later in your trip, so you're chances are better that it will be available. You may not have much choice as to time, though.

Then go for CRT. You're wanting dinner there, which is easier to get than breakfast, so you sold be OK.

Everything else on your list shouldn't be a problem to get at a time of your liking. Order won't really matter.
