We are booked for September 6th-13th for our upcoming trip with the dining plan (hopefully we'll get FD in a few days). I have made all but one of my ADR's for our week and I am satisfied with my choices; however I cannot decide what to do for our last day. I plan on getting our MNSSHP tickets for Friday September 12th once they are available and that is also our last day before traveling home :( Since we are doing the party on our last night, were not doing another park during the day and plan to hang back at POP. I had originally made an ADR for the Crystal Palace at 4:25 pm so that we could head over to dinner as soon as we arrived at the MK prior to the party, but I found myself second guessing the plan because I don't want to be wrapped up at a long dinner right before the party. We like to trick or treat and get character autographs prior to parade/firework line up and I don't feel that a CP dinner will allow enough time for that?! Year before last we did WCC at WL around 2:30 or so and then headed over to the party and it worked out well for the most part and now I'm thinking about doing something similar, but would like some suggestions. CP is probably one of my favorite character meals and I can't really fit it in anywhere else but I don't know about doing it on a party evening??

I think you'd be fine. You'd be out before 6:00p which still gives you an hour before the part starts.

We have a 4:45p BOG reservation before one of our parties.

I'm told that dinner at CP runs about 1 hour 15 minutes total. You'd be done by 6:00 at the latest. PLENTY of time since the event doesn't start til 7.

Thank you both. I've had lunch at CP, but never dinner, so I guess that I was thinking that dinner may take longer. We had BOG reservations at 5 pm originally and I cancelled because we were going to do the party on Tuesday and another park on Friday (were not hopping this time). Now I'm kicking myself :(

We had an ADR at Tony's just in time for the parade start time which we had the luck of being seated outside so we got an excellent view of the parade. this was for MNSSHP Halloween night 2012.

Since CP is one of your favorites I would keep it. Most likely you'll be finished around 6:00. If you want meet any of the rare characters that appear at the party I would head directly to the line after leaving CP. Lines start forming around 5:30 - 6:00, but this way you'll spend less time in your first M&G line during party time.
