ADR at 180+10 .... and then what?

For the first time I'm planning an extended DW trip (PHM and a week with the family). It just dawned on me, you can reserve ADR for 10 days when you are 180 days out. But what about the vacations that are longer than 10 days? Do you just reserve the 11th vacation day the following day after 180, then the 12th vacation day the day after the that, etc?

At 180 days from check-in, you can reserve that day plus 10 additional days (so 11 days total). Then the next day (179 days from check-in) you can book the 12th day, and so on.
