ADR and special event question.

I was somehow able to book an ADR for BOG at 6:30 on the night of the Christmas party. Unfortunately it is not the night we have tickets to the party. When making the reservation, I noticed a note saying that we would need party tickets to eat at 6:30 even though the party does not start until 7:00.

So my question is, will they turn us away if we arrive at 6:30 for dinner if we do not have party tickets?

Yes, they will turn you away and charge you $10pp no show fees.

If they say you need party tickets, you aren't the exception.

If that's what the notes said, I would expect them to enforce it. Of course there are always exceptions or examples of people who "snuck through" but in my experience they're pretty serious about clearing the park for the parties. Sorry... Probably not the answer you wanted.

Disney has set it up this year that earlier reservations are requiring tickets to the special events. This is most likely to limit the amount of nonticketed people in the parks once the party starts and to eliminate the need to use CMs to escort guests out. Especially at locations further in the park like BOG.

If you don't have a ticket, then you will not be allowed to dine. You were warned when you made the reservation.

If you open BOG's page on the day you are going, you will see restaurant hours to the right under the calendar. It will be very clear the hours you are permitted to make ADRs for for DINNER versus DINNER Special Event. If your time is not within the regular Dinner time frame .... everyone is correct, it will not be honored and you will pay $10 per person.
