Myself, DH and DD3 are taking our second trip to the World 5/27-6/5. We went last May- same week -did a few ADRs (cape may bf, les chefs, biergarten, raglan rd). Learned a lot about touring (thanks to Josh's site), transportation, etc. Now this trip we've doubled down on our days and are planning on going all out for the DD who mentions WDW daily and watches the documentaries on Netflix every single day.

I'd love some advice on our ADRs/meal plans as we want this trip to be absolutely magical for DD in the event we don't get back until 2014...

We love to eat and have no problem taking a couple hours/day for meals. Is something we highly value in our trips.

5/27- Via Napoli Dinner
5/28- CS lunch & dinner **may add CP
5/29- CRT late brunch/Cape May dinner buffet (saw this walking through our hotel last year and almost sobbed at the crab legs)
5/30- CS Lunch BOG/ 50s primetime dinner
5/31- TRex Dinner (I'm not thrilled with menu but DD would BE a dinosaur if she could
6/1- Ohana Dinner

** this is where I am torn. We can be at AK either 5/31 or 6/1
I have booked an 8:10 Tusker House on 5/31 with AK opening at 9. I want to be ready at RD for KS am concerned this will not give enough time for meal and seeing the characters.
In alternate I have booked a 6/1 9:15 Tusker House so we can do the 0800 EMH and at least get KS and EE done prior, eat, then make it in time for 11am Nemo with Dino Land after.
Suggestions on which may work better with touring? How long does the BF normally last there?

6/2- 1900 Park Faire Brunch/ Late CS Lunch/Wishes Dessert Party if can get Res when released
**This brunch is for me. Alice and Mary Poppins are my absolute fave Disney characters and I missed them both in WS last time. I'm sort of surprised to see them both at this brunch....is it good interaction? Food decent? Worth it for a FAN?
Is the dessert party all hype or really fun?

6/3- CS Lunch Sunshine Seasons/ Akershus Princess dinner

6/4- CS lunch/ BOG dinner

6/5- CS lunch

**I've got some spots where I can fit in CP. We'd love to see piglet this time around. Are the Pooh characters worth it?

We'll probably squeeze in Cape May BF on our off day from the parks just because we loved it so much.

Any other places you can rec or tips for check-in (request areas?) I'd love to hear y'all's opinions. Obviously we are character heavy and not overly frou frou in our restaurant selections. We can dine fine at home. We're looking for magic at the World ;).

It would be tight making rope drop with the 8:10, but it can be done. Show up early and see if you can get in early. You may miss a character. We've done this before and sometimes it's not busy and no problem, but other times the line to take the picture on the way in is super long. We have just skipped the picture before (but then you will not see Donald at all.) I get very anxious about missing rope drop and probably don't enjoy the experience as much as I would otherwise.
Another option if you're running a little late, is send you husband for FP for EE and meet up at KS. Remember, if you get a childswap pass as you enter the line to EE with your FP, you both can ride twice using only 2 FPs.

You'll all enjoy the brunch. The food and interaction are good.

Haven't been, but how can you go wrong?

6/3- CS Lunch Sunshine Seasons/ Akershus Princess dinner

6/4- CS lunch/ BOG dinner

6/5- CS lunch

CP is always highly recommended. I've only ever been to breakfast, and we always like it.

We'll probably squeeze in Cape May BF on our off day from the parks just because we loved it so much.

My comments are in red above. Sounds like lots of fun!

Thanks! I feel better about Park Faire despite the negative reviews. I may go ahead and roll the dice on the early TH ADR.

Since you have some other character breakfasts in there, I might consider dropping Tusker House and doing dinner at either Boma or Sanaa the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Both of those restaurants are outstanding and would give you a chance to visit the lodge and check it out.

Or you could keep Tusker House and add dinner at either of those places in addition, which would be even better. ;-)

Is love to try out AKL food but DH isn't feeling the menus but after your comment we reevaluated TH and have decided on the following - and yes I know it's an excess of character meals but DD3 will love every one.

5/27- via Napoli dinner
5/28- CP dinner
5/29- CRT brunch/Cape May dinner
5/30- BOG CS lunch/ 50s primetime dinner
5/31- TRex dinner
6/1- Chef Mickeys brunch/Ohana dinner
6/2- 1900 Park brunch/Wishes Dessert Party
6/3- Cape May breakfast before EP RD/ Akershus dinner
6/4- BOG dinner
6/5- CS prior to leaving late afternoon

I may cancel Akershus just because we so have CRT but we'll just wing it as nowhere in WS appeals right now. I'd love to go back to Les Chefs but DH didn't care for it.
