So, I got all my free dining ADRs, and got everything i wanted! Yippie Skippie! However, I am one TS credit over the limit, due to CRT. So I'm seeking advice...

The cast:
Me
Mom: 50's
DD5
DS4
DD2

Here is the plan:
9/5- 9:25 am- Animal Kingdom's Tusker House
9/6- 10:05 am- Hollywood N Dine Playhouse Disney breakfast/early lunch
5pm- Sci Fi Dine in
9/7 5:20- Coral Reef
9/8- 8:05 am- Crystal Palace Breakfast
9/9- 4:30 pm- Yak and Yeti
9/10- 6:50 pm- Cinderella's Royal Table as our "farewell to WDW"

So, should we
A. Pay OOP for one of the less expensive meals? (sci fi or Yak N Yeti)
B. Pay OOP for CRT and get one more meal
C. Cancel one of the TS, though I have no idea which one!
Which one sounds like the sound choice?

Same problem here. We just decided to pay for one of the cheaper meals ourselves! That way we get everything we want and the cost won't be that bad. :wizard:

I would pay OOP for CRT, thus you get an extra meal at WDW! CRT isnt really a good choice for 2 TS since its fixed price and since it would free up an extra TS, you can probably get a meal worth even more than CRT at 1 credit!

with PP. Pay OOP for CRT and get the extra meal. You could look at LTT dinner for example.

I also think you should pay OOP for CRT. Book something for dinner on one of the other nights. Liberty Tree is a great character meal!

CRT when you book you have to pay for it up front so that will be paid for & you can use your credits for other meals. Yes they do charge your credit card when you give it to them, they use to hold it in case you don't show but now they charge it. ( did it twice & my card showed the charge the next month & this was 180 days that you could book) This way it is paid for. I really didn't think it worth what they charged nor worth two credits but each to their own;)

I would also go with pay OOP for CRT. I did the math when I was doing some pre pre pre trip planning and it we were better off paying OOP for that and getting another TS then just not doing a TS one day or paying OOP for a cheaper one. I figured the ability to experiance another dining place was enough.

We usually always have 1 or 2 more TS scheduled than the number of DDP credits we have, so we usually pay OOP for a breakfast since they are cheaper than the dinners :goodvibes

I agree with the pp. We are going to pay OOP for CRT - just because it makes the most sense to do so. In general, we pay OOP for a few meals during our stay because the DDP won't cover them all & we really enjoy the dining experiences in WDW.

I am going against the majority and say pay for Sci Fi. Since you have a late breakfast at H&V, you might not be too hungry. Their food is not so great; so you might save some $ by sharing and order less.

You have to pay for tips this year, CRT is included(bonus). Extra TS means another meal you will have to tip on.

We are doing CRT this year too, if it was not for free DH would never agree to pay the big $!

Good thing about free dining is there is no pressure to get you $39- out of the plan. We choose more what we like ie character breakfast and dinner shows
