Admiral's Floor at NPBC is it worth the extra?

I've looking into booking a stay at the Newport Bay Club for next June, when hopefully the refurbishment will be finished, and I'm tied between a standard Lake View room and Admiral's Floor Lake View room, but is the extra cost worth it.

For those that have stayed in an Admiral's Floor Room, it is worth the extra cost to stay in on the Admiral's Floor, what other benefits do you get apart from a kettle in your room and a dedicated check in desk?

We've never stayed in a regular room. When we booked, the Admiral's floor was the only option, and cheap due to the refurb going on now.

It was a room. Nothing thrilling. The benefits certainly don't compare to the Golden Forest in SL.

As an Admiral Fllor Guest: Do you have a certain time slot or can yo go whenever you like ?

Is the breakfast in the same room or seperate from the others ?

We had a time slot and the breakfast was in with everyone else, but that might be different when the restaurants are all open again. Maybe someone who went before the refurb will know?

We'll be staing on the Admirals floor next week, it was the only option given when booking and we don't know anything about it, really.
I'll be sure to update next week though.

Thanks everyone, I've decided to go with a standard lake view room, but if the reviews are good after the refurb I might upgrade.

We stayed a few years ago we had separate check in, room with not too far a walk from lift, room service, breakfast in yacht club if you didn't use room service and free towel hire at pool....think thats about it. I liked room service breakfast and yacht club when we didn't but it didn't entitle you to skip q or anything....I don't think it was much more to stay admirals floor at the time ....hope that helps
