If this thread is still going in a couple of days I'll let you knowI'm not in my 30s anymore, but yeah 30s was when that thing "if one thing goes wrong" started with me!
Don't even talk about hangovers....loooordddd....lol!
Cheap alcohol gives me a headache, too much alcohol gives me a headache...too much sun with alcohol gives me a headache....why is life so hard?!?
I always wonder if those inversion table works....![]()
We are going on a river cruise this Fall that is also all inclusive, even excursions! It is a whole lot more expensive than ocean cruises but we are excited to try it! It will be a completely different experience than the mega ships!I would probably have enraged the OP if I had mentioned the exact type of cruise we're going on but it's one where everything is included in the fare, drinks, tips (and you don't tip unless you actually want to since it's already included), gratuities, all food on board, a good list of wine and champagne that are complimentary a bottle of champagne in your room, stocked bar and mini bar drinks-wise with your choices. If you want something like Dom Perignon then yeah that's an added charge.
We are the type of people that would never buy the Disney Dining Plan because it wasn't a good value for us but the more I got used to the idea of how this cruise would go the more I started feeling off about going to a cruise where I'd have to actively think about the costs. I'm price-adverse where I will downgrade my own experience because I don't want to spent X on Y. I've gotten better at it through the years but in some ways that's probably why I was like this with this cruise wanting one where I didn't have to feel bad about that drink or wanting that meal. This cruise is our ultimate splurge in all of our 15 years together. But like you said treating yourselfIn our day to day lives I'm the person who hates paying $0.75 for a side of ranch

The Edge class ships are all so beautiful!! Absolutely love the aesthetic as well, they look more like upscale resorts than cruise ships. Originally, the NCL Prima was on my list to try next, because they really improved the vibe of that ship and Haven is also upgraded a bit. But after I saw the BeyondLast month when we were on the Dream the Beyond was also docked in Cozumel and we passed right by it on our catamaran. It looks beautiful! I would love to do one of the Edge class ships—the aesthetic is my vibe. The Retreat looks so fabulous as well—we did a NCL Haven cruise last summer and it was amazing, I think the Retreat is even better because the Retreat restaurant has a rotating menu (NCL Haven restaurant it stays the same the whole cruise).
Makes perfect sense to me. All those little purchases add up. In 50 years, bam, you have a amazing cruiseHahaha I think so. I’m still cracking up.
DW; “Honey, there’s this awesome cruise but it costs $20k. Do you want to do it? Me: “You know I do!!”
DW: “Get me some more ranch”
Me: “Hell no, that’s 50 extra cents. You should have bought a jar from home”
We do the same thing btw. Don’t want or need Christmas presents or birthday presents necessarily, would rather put that money to something else.
And yea, this forum has been a god send!!!!
Wait....I don't understand....so it is like a hot chocolate but have coffee in it? or taste like coffee? I mean I like mochas if they don't put 6 pumps of syrup + chocolate sauce in it....and I like coffee in chocolates....so it might be good? Now I'm intrigued!!!Is this the point where I mention there is actually a chocolate coffee now? I haven't had it but just saw it exists, it's chocolate that they've processed to where you brew it like coffee. I've wondered how it affects that chocolate taste.

Some of the best beer I've had include oatmeal stouts, chocolate flavors, toffee, some vanillas (porters), berry notes too, even a peanut butter one. I'm forgetting some I know.

That doesn't sound appealing to me. Of course, I'm not a bidet fan, either. I encountered them in Europe. The only time I used one was in Assissi...as a vomitorium. It did not improve my opinion of them.No to the scented toilet paper, but I will have to say after traveling to Japan I would really love to have a Japanese toilet in my next bath remodel. Two words: heated seat.
Aw I'm jealous I want a river cruise but my husband is not up for it...yet at least. We are going on a river cruise this Fall that is also all inclusive, even excursions! That was totally us as well. We can split meals too. And yeah eating and trying to go on rides stuffed so much nope. I never knocked anyone who bought it but I know our cruise fare is high in proportion to understanding you want caviar everyday for breakfast you got it or you want that steak go for it oh you want to go to the bars go for it no need to pay for anything really in that respects. And the Dining Plan was priced to a point where there were ways you needed to order and eat if you were concerned about the cost and getting the most there. We never bought DDP, because we didn't want to feel like we have to stuff our faces to make it worth it. Most entrees at WDW are pretty decent size, I can't eat the whole entree for lunch, then go for a snacks, then dinner with a full entree again. If we skip the snacks credit, then we would feel like missing out. So it's just better for us to buy food when we want to eat and not overstuffed. It's the worst to over eat then go on rides...no thanks!!!
OMG so true. I'm sad because it has gotten more common here but for pete's sake it's the Midwest ranch is like everywhereOkay this is one of my pet peeves at restaurants - I don't mind paying for extra sauces but please tell me when I ask for it instead of charging me that $0.75 and I only see it when the check comes! I HATE THAT!! Yeah it's very little money but it's the principle I hate when servers don't tell us!!I know this is very petty of me but I get so irritated that I would talk to the server (calm and nicely), let them know that I don't mind paying for it this time but please let your customers know at the time of their request. Not that hard!!
see ... see ...seeSo this is basically what I was thinking about

brews like coffee, tastes like chocolate
IT'S NOT COFFEE | IT'S CACAO: Roasted, ground, and brewed like coffee, Crio Bru Brewed Cacao has flavor and aroma of unsweetened pure dark chocolate. Instead of coffee bean grounds, it's 100% pure ground cacao.
Brew it in your French press or coffee maker, and your kitchen will have the aroma of pure dark chocolate heaven in no time.
Okay that needs to be filed in the category of things I did not need to know for the daySo you know what I'm doing ............... GOOGLING.
Are we talking about "CHOFFY?"

Hey I can't argue with that but at the same time I truly do want to know how that tastes personally. I suspect it's a lot more tasty than just hot chocolate and I like the idea of combining it with coffee.see ... see ...see
It has it CLEARLY in the title "Its not coffee" ... so, its not coffee its a brewed hot chocolate ... trying to pass one over are ya ... lol
@Smugpugmug will drink it .. I have it on good authorityOkay that needs to be filed in the category of things I did not need to know for the dayI won't be cruel and ask a poster here to take one for the team and get some just to let us know how that tastes..I won't be that mean
I didn’t like the bidet features, but the Minnesotan in me could really appreciate the idea of a heated toilet seat in January. Now, if I added a heated tile floor and a heated towel rack, I would probably move into the bathroom. That doesn't sound appealing to me. Of course, I'm not a bidet fan, either. I encountered them in Europe. The only time I used one was in Assissi...as a vomitorium. It did not improve my opinion of them.
Out of my coma. 32 posts since my nap began. Not too bad.
Again DH would love a bidet (all that travel got in his head). Guess where there was a bidet? Marriott World Center Orlando Imperial Palms units. So we had DS sit on it and I so wish it weren't uncool to take photos. His face was priceless. He was once and done.I didn’t like the bidet features, but the Minnesotan in me could really appreciate the idea of a heated toilet seat in January. Awwww...hey, John, hey!
Unless a mod actually closes it, I have a weird feeling it will be lol!If this thread is still going in a couple of days I'll let you know![]()
Not just mad at people who made over 100k. They claimed to report everyone who responded who didn’t have ALL of the same financial burdens as them. The OP was asking how middle class people that make under 100k a year with a mortgage payment/car payment and have expenses related to raising children how they can do yearly vacations (not specifically Disney but could also be Disney as well). They then got mad that people who make over 100k a year responded.
