You're going to need a whole lotta breaks!I work from home, I hop on here as a 10 minute brain break!
I dont mind the "notes" of stuff in beer - but, the other thing you are talking about sounds like a hot chocolate and that has it's own category tooSome of the best beer I've had include oatmeal stouts, chocolate flavors, toffee, some vanillas (porters), berry notes too, even a peanut butter one. I'm forgetting some I know.
Is this the point where I mention there is actually a chocolate coffee now? I haven't had it but just saw it exists, it's chocolate that they've processed to where you brew it like coffee. I've wondered how it affects that chocolate taste.
The only buffets left really are $$$$$ I'm annoyed because we had Wynn buffet paid for by using My Vegas Rewards for a trip that was supposed to have occurred April 2020...we all know that didn't happen. Luckily we were able to reschedule and keep our comp stay for March 2021 but the Wynn buffet was still closed. And when it reopened the reward used was no good anymore and the price is astronomical. So doubtful we'll ever get to experience itCheap Vegas was basically Cheap Tahoe on a bigger scale. Cheap buffets and steak specials, cheap drinks, cheap rooms. Lots of penny slots and low limit tables.
About died on that one ...Yeah, I didn't think anything you or anyone else said was rude or mean. This is social media - you have to expect people with differing opinions and perspectives than you to respond to your posts. The Office reference someone posted a while back was pretty funny though.
Okay John so what are your thoughts on the Hershey Chocolate Porter? I believe it's only available in a few states (Maryland being one of them) so I've tried this and it's kinda funky tastingI dont mind the "notes" of stuff in beer - but, the other thing you are talking about sounds like a hot chocolate and that has it's own category too![]()

oohh I'll keep that in mindone of the best beers we've had is had hints of blood orange-phenomenal.
I could totally see that, basically melding the flavors, sound yummychocolate cofffee-it's good on it's own but we've found we prefer to grind some up and mix it with either fresh ground french roast or on occasion-kona. it gives a nice hint of flavor but not overwhelming.
I stayed at a hotel with scented toilet paper in January and I was like WHAT is this this is literally not even HEALTHY.See ... see ... see
Beer should taste like beer, coffee like coffee, oatmeal cookies are fine on their own, and toilet paper should be unscented (I wanted to cover all the bases) ... lol

No, which I realize is a travestyAlso, when you were at DL last time, did you have a churro? If you did, can you share if you like the churros at DL better or WDW?! (from the carts NOT from Nomad! so it's fair) It's a constant debate between the two coasts!
LOVE a good peanut butter stout...one of our local breweries makes a delicious oneI dont mind the "notes" of stuff in beer - but, the other thing you are talking about sounds like a hot chocolate and that has it's own category too![]()
You may be onto something because this is something you can buy in any liquor store in MarylandI think now you are agitating like that @barkley person likes to do

We haven’t paid off our mortgage, doesn’t really make sense as the interest rate is so low, and back in the day we could deduct the interest payments. Once it’s paid off we still have property taxes of $15,000 a year anyway (which will probably be up to $20,000 when it’s paid off). Not sure I agree that you can’t be middle class unless you have a mortgage. If you live in an area where houses are/were relatively inexpensive, you bought well below your means, or if you lived in the same house for many years, you can certainly pay it off even with a middle income. We rounded up our mortgage payments and paid off our house in about 15 years. We didn’t go to WDW back then but we sure do now. I realize some imaginary scenarios require assumptions, but sometimes personal judgments just aren’t true to life.
My daughter is in grad school in Boston and bartends to pay rent, she made us a delicious Bloody Mary with old bay, good combo! You may be onto something because this is something you can buy in any liquor store in Maryland

I would probably have enraged the OP if I had mentioned the exact type of cruise we're going on but it's one where everything is included in the fare, drinks, tips (and you don't tip unless you actually want to since it's already included), gratuities, all food on board, a good list of wine and champagne that are complimentary a bottle of champagne in your room, stocked bar and mini bar drinks-wise with your choices. If you want something like Dom Perignon then yeah that's an added charge.
I think we were separated at birth. I would enrage OP with my spending on Disney products this past 12 months alone (i shudder to say it’s more than the salary in the original post and this year will be a biggie too before settling into into a sensible pattern). We are the type of people that would never buy the Disney Dining Plan because it wasn't a good value for us but the more I got used to the idea of how this cruise would go the more I started feeling off about going to a cruise where I'd have to actively think about the costs. I'm price-adverse where I will downgrade my own experience because I don't want to spent X on Y. I've gotten better at it through the years but in some ways that's probably why I was like this with this cruise wanting one where I didn't have to feel bad about that drink or wanting that meal. This cruise is our ultimate splurge in all of our 15 years together. But like you said treating yourselfIn our day to day lives I'm the person who hates paying $0.75 for a side of ranch
