I don't have one but used one at a spa once and it was AMAZING. Did I accidentally nap in it after my massage? Yes yes I did.
I should clarify it's actually an inversion table but really same thing it's doing, inversion therapy. So glad to hear you liked the feeling.

Adding in that because the one we got has heat and massage I could totally see myself taking a nap as well..I see no problem with that though :rolleyes1

I keep seeing updates to various cruise line's drink packages either the cost or what's included in it. It's def. creeping up there it seems if you want to cruise.
I'm totally looking into sailing on the Celebrity Beyond, in their suites, so we can try The Retreat!! It looks amazing! 😍 It will be a very expensive vacation, but hey treat yo'self since we work so hard making that 💵 right? A couple years back, Celebrity started including drink package in their pricing (if you choose to, or you can remove it if you want sailing only, some people don't drink at all). In their suites pricing, the premium drink package is included. They have two drink packages, Classic or Premium. Classic is all drinks under $20 and discount on bottled wines. The latter is all drinks under $17 and higher discount on bottled wines.

I really like that pricing structure because it's already included in what I will be paying for vacation up front. I don't need to worry about budgeting how much to spend on 🍸🍷🍻

I would probably have enraged the OP if I had mentioned the exact type of cruise we're going on but it's one where everything is included in the fare, drinks, tips (and you don't tip unless you actually want to since it's already included), gratuities, all food on board, a good list of wine and champagne that are complimentary a bottle of champagne in your room, stocked bar and mini bar drinks-wise with your choices. If you want something like Dom Perignon then yeah that's an added charge.

We are the type of people that would never buy the Disney Dining Plan because it wasn't a good value for us but the more I got used to the idea of how this cruise would go the more I started feeling off about going to a cruise where I'd have to actively think about the costs. I'm price-adverse where I will downgrade my own experience because I don't want to spent X on Y. I've gotten better at it through the years but in some ways that's probably why I was like this with this cruise wanting one where I didn't have to feel bad about that drink or wanting that meal. This cruise is our ultimate splurge in all of our 15 years together. But like you said treating yourself :) In our day to day lives I'm the person who hates paying $0.75 for a side of ranch :lmao:

Apparently someone is holding back on the POG juice and using it to make IPAs! :drinking1

Every store that used to sell it is not now. Maybe we know why.
How about making your own POG??🤔 That might taste even better! I like mine with more Guava so it's hard to find a POG that I love anyways.

How did I not know this? (Although I have only been to DL once.)

Updating my list of food and beverages for our June trip . . . :drinking1
The last time we were at DCA it was around the holidays. One of those festival booths had beer flights and their selections were pretty good! I tried a oatmeal cookie beer...oh boy I was hooked! Never looked at oatmeal cookies the same way again! lol! 😂
Also, when you were at DL last time, did you have a churro? If you did, can you share if you like the churros at DL better or WDW?! (from the carts NOT from Nomad! so it's fair😅) It's a constant debate between the two coasts!

And for my enemies...........they get Hard Mountain Dew

Oh no no....🤢🤮🤮 Maybe if I was 21 again....desperate for anything that has alcohol in it...then maybe....lol!

I don't know if it's just regional, but all the grocery stores around here have "pick your six-pack", where you can choose from an assortment of craft beers.
Total Wine does that for sure. That's where we usually get our "sampler" for all beers/ciders. Our local Trader Joes does that as well, and recently they even put individual pricing for each specific one!

Beer should taste like beer, coffee like coffee, oatmeal cookies are fine on their own, and toilet paper should be unscented (I wanted to cover all the bases) ... lol

I last checked this thread around 10pm Pacific last night....12 hours later and I have 7 pages to catch up on :rotfl2: So far my comments are: I miss 'cheap' Vegas too and I, too, do not care for IPAs. Ok, on to page 14.....
So where the heck have you been ... you clearly are a discerning individual ... and it's been chaos ... utter chaos ... since you left ... :)

The OP was asking how middle class people that make under 100k a year with a mortgage payment/car payment and have expenses related to raising children how they can do yearly vacations (not specifically Disney but could also be Disney as well). They then got mad that people who make over 100k a year responded.
and mad at me when i asked for clarification on net vs. gross income and if other housing costs that could equate monetarily to rent or a mortgage sufficed. for the record-their answer was that if someone owned their own home they were in no way middle class unless it was a 'dirt cheap' house and everyone knows income is only spoken to pretty much everywhere
in reference to gross (didn't work that way when i administered tax payer funds but maybe the financial and numerical rules are different on the dis).

i think one of my posts in particular ticked the op off b/c i must have been typing it at the same time their declaration of the the thread's closure was being posted-so mine appeared AFTER they declared the thread closed to which i subsequently lightly joked in another post that somehow i was still able to post. that garnered my violation status in their mind.

ROFL!!! I am dying....laughing so hard tears almost came down!!! 😂 😂:laughing::rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
I disagreed with that!!! SOME oatmeal cookies might be fine on their own, but not all, definitely NOT! lol!

curious-what is 'cheap vegas'? i well remember 'cheap tahoe' back in my youth-the minute you turned 21 it was ROAD TRIP to the land where free liquor was handed out 24/7, you could drink said free liquor walking down the street and a group of 5 friends with $20 each could score a small but relatively clean motel room and avail themselves of pennies on the dollars buffets and small change slots ::yes::

By the way....is everyone working right now?? 🤭😅 I mean I am....but wait....am I??🤔 My work day so far has been very "productive" in certain areas....but not the right areas....LOL! :rotfl:

Some of the best beer I've had include oatmeal stouts, chocolate flavors, toffee, some vanillas (porters), berry notes too, even a peanut butter one. I'm forgetting some I know.

Is this the point where I mention there is actually a chocolate coffee now? I haven't had it but just saw it exists, it's chocolate that they've processed to where you brew it like coffee. I've wondered how it affects that chocolate taste.

I'm all caught up. Gotta keep you people in line :thumbsup2
And suddenly I have a craving for POG...and sour beer.....:scared:

Sales tax....12% here! It's two taxes combined...7%PST (provincial sales tax) and 5%GST (federal govt' sales tax). To keep it confusing somethings you buy you are only charged one tax. I love me some tax free shopping Oregon ;-) Only a short 5+ hour drive away :rotfl2:

Oh heck now there are more replies....I can't keep up!! bwahahaha

Cheap Vegas was basically Cheap Tahoe on a bigger scale. Cheap buffets and steak specials, cheap drinks, cheap rooms. Lots of penny slots and low limit tables.

Yeah, I didn't think anything you or anyone else said was rude or mean. This is social media - you have to expect people with differing opinions and perspectives than you to respond to your posts. The Office reference someone posted a while back was pretty funny though.

This would be a great thread to come back to in a couple years just to relive the ping pong, "I did not see that coming" what the heck is going on, I don't know who these people are anymore craziness that this thread is :goodvibes

Last month when we were on the Dream the Beyond was also docked in Cozumel and we passed right by it on our catamaran. It looks beautiful! I would love to do one of the Edge class ships—the aesthetic is my vibe. The Retreat looks so fabulous as well—we did a NCL Haven cruise last summer and it was amazing, I think the Retreat is even better because the Retreat restaurant has a rotating menu (NCL Haven restaurant it stays the same the whole cruise).
