I am planning on putting my almost 3 yr. old daughter in the kids club instead of Flounders. Recently, she has become very shy around new people. I know from reading the board that this will be on a trial basis. How are the counselors with letting the kids get used to new enviroment? I fully expect her to cry, but at the gym where I go she is usually ok within 5 minutes max.
(BTW, yes she is potty trained and is just 2 weeks short of her 3rd bday when we sail)

It honestly depends on the child. My DD was 3 when we first cruised and also cried for the mandatory 10 seconds after I dropped her off at PS. I stood out in the hall & counted down. ;) She would only go to the club one time however. She fussed when we suggested going back...and DD5 had been moved down to be with her. Your DD could have a completely different experience. We went on the cruise not expecting her to go to the club at all...so she did surprise us & spent an hour there during dinner. We didn't get upset or even schedule Palo.
