Adjoining Studios? - Is there such a thing.

I've noticed that the studios are less than half the points of a 1 bedroom (this was for BCV - I assume its consistent with the others). Is it possible to get 2 studios adjoining (with a door between)? I'm guessing they aren't available (more likely to get a 1 bedroom/studio combo) - and I realize for 1 family it wouldn't be as nice as a 1 bedroom. However, I am surprised that the point difference between the studio and 1 bedroom is so great. Any comments?

Since these are "home away from home" accommodations, there would not be a full size unit without a full size kitchen and laundry facility. This is after all, a timeshare. Therefore, it needs to be built around a full size unit.

The only ajoining studios we've seen is at Disney's Vero Beach Resort. If you stay in the main building you can have 2 studios that are back to back with a common door. I don't have the points book with me at this time, but from what I remember the points weren't too bad. When we visited August 2000 we were disappointed because there was no beach to speak of. Hopefully this was just a rare case. Very nice grounds. Good luck!:earsboy:

We stayed at Vero in August 2000. We wanted a beach vacation with Disney quality. We left Vero as DVC members. We've been doing the happy dance ever since. There was plenty of beach.

Our DD and family of 5 stayed in 2 studios at BW last month. We requested the studios to be linked so the family would be close. They placed them in side by side studios but there was no connecting door.
