adjoining room

I was just wondering if anyone that has requested ajoining rooms has even not rechem.

Adjoining is next to a room. Connecting has the door between the two rooms. Which one are you asking about? Disney doesn't guarantee requests.

I guess I need a connecting room if possible. We want to be able to put the baby down for a nap and be able to sit and do things in the other room. Walking out into the hallway wouldn't be that big of a deal I guess. I just don't want to be far. I will bring a monitor though!

If you are traveling with 8 or more I would recommend setting up a GG! I have never had my rooms not connected or adjoining (depending on my request), while booking under a GG. Disney still states that there is "no guarantee", but I believe they try and accommodate these GG parties 1st!
