Address Swap Sign-Ups

Here is the Official sign-up thread for the Address Swap. This swap is open to all who have swaped with us at least once before. Once I have the complete list I will send a pm to everyone and if anyone has any special requests or concerns about mailing to a particular person let me know and I will sort accordingly. I will hold the swap open until next Friday.

It is a designers choice of either a business card or a rolodex (2 1/4"x4") card. These will be due the same day as the other swap June 1st. Just mail to me and include return postage and I will swap them out.

They need to include the following information:
DIS Name
Real Name
Address
email address
Birthday (year is optional)
avatar
space for phone number to be added later if wanted

I hope being in the swap doesn't mandate birthday cards. I am horible at sending birthday cards even to my brothers and sister.

Is it OK to join this even if I'm not in the Rolodex swap? I was thinking it might be nice for swaps if have the addresses rather than the hostess having to PM me with it.

I believe so- the only requirement for joining was being part of a swap that is completed.

In doing this we might want to allow a few of our newbies to sign up after the beginning of May when the next round of swaps are completed0 or give them an opportunity once a hostess has recieved their swaps.

Hmm I guess if someone is in the round due the first of May we could include them and if someone has a problem I can sort accordingly but if they do complete the swap then it should be ok.

re: adding more people later... no offense to any newbies, but I've got to get mine done (and hopefully mailed) pretty soon, so I think that once we have the final number next Fri, I'm done.

If we are using rolodex cards do we have to cover them in a paper or are we just decorating the cards?

Thanks so much for adding me in!!!!! If we do the buisness card option, do we make them smaller so they can be attached to the rolodex card? Or do we make them the same size as the rolodex card and leave room for them to be punched?

Aren't the address cards supposed to be punched before we mail them since a lot of us are sharing a punch?

Lets see I would say if doing an address card it needs to be prepunched so that the receiver can just put it in the rolodex. If doing a business card then it should be smaller so that someone can attach it to an address card they already have.

Does that make sense?
