Whoop whoop! Just purchased an add-on for points at the Villas at the Grand Floridian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never thought I would stay there, much less own there, but after staying there in Jan we fell in love! Fought the addonitis but there was no cure! lol. Plus this add-on gets us to a point total we always thought would meet our needs long term as our sons grow up. So excited and can't wait to book our Dec 2015 trip at the flagship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So happy for you! Congrats!! We are fiercely loyal to our home (BCV) but DH and I stayed at VGF last Nov. and fell in love with it !!! Our children were appalled that we would dare think it was as nice as BCV. DD and I stayed there last week for a few days (split stay with BCV) She told her brother and sister that room comparison was pure luxury vs the projects. Yikes! (In all fairness, we did have some room issues) Fortunately or unfortunately, I don't ever have to wonder what she's thinking....she's very blunt. But, she still loves BCV and says it will always be her first choice.

Like you, I would love to add on there. Even though the price per point is more than I'm able to spend right now, I keep checking the resales anyway.

Enjoy your purchase, but don't delude yourself into thinking your addonitis is cured...it is a relentless disease that occasionally goes into remission! I love VGF, and bought 100 points there thinking that would be enough. 200 MORE points later, I'm thinking I have enough now. Really. I'm not buying anymore points. Ever. Never again, ever.

Agreed. You've treated the symptoms but cured??? Let's just say you and your money will be finding ways to "keep you comfortable" in the years ahead.

Mine gets cured every January.

We just passed ROFR for our first add-on and I think it has only made it worse for me.

We now (well soon) will have 270 points and I want at least 400 so we can take our daughters and their future families at least every other year.
