Addon, Banking and Dues question

Ok - the addon bug hit me. I think were going to add 60 points at SSR. I called my guide because I was concerned about being able to bank the points I would receive for the 2007 year (I don't have any plans to use the 2007 points before my UY which is February is up). He told me that I would be able to bank them and that DVC gives you a grace period of a month to do so. From what I understand, the dues are pro rated by calendar year. So my question is if there is an advantage to purchasing right now? Can I just wait until December to add on and save the money in dues and still have the month grace period to bank 100% of my 60 points? TIA

I have added on and was told that they do extend the courtesy of banking an add on even after the deadlines. So, it seems to make sense to do what you are saying, and the only drawback would be if they didn't have your UY for the points you want. I don't know exactly how much you are saving, and if there's a chance they wouldn't have points later, I would go with the purchase now. The important thing is to get the points before the start of your UY!
