Additional Salon Mickey Bonus

Not sure if this is common, but after entering the park via Salon Mickey this week, our entry tickets/AP's didn't work in the Fastpass machines. Instead, they printed a ticket which said that the ticket hadn't been used to gain admission on this day. Obviously they don't scan them in the Salon, as they do at the turnstiles.

The down side is, you have to point it out/explain it to the CM, who will get some Fastpass tickets out of the machine for you.

The bonus is, you can collect Fastpass tickets for different rides, without having to wait for your 1st one to expire

I think you were just lucky/unlucky , in that the CM in Salon Mickey didn't activate your park tickets for you that day. I use Salon Mickey before going into the parks in the morning regularly, and they've always worked as usual in the FP machines that day.

The only day we used Salon Mickey to enter the park, the fast pass machine didn't work for us either. But we weren't given a special ticket or anything. The CM's at the fast pass machines seemed to understand though.

Most times we go into the park for EMH first, and then to Salon Mickey so not had a problem before.

can I please ask where the enetrance to Saloon Mickey is ???
Got my shares now and oct will be our first time at Saloon Mickey. I am correct in thinking you dont go into either park first

Rather than going underneath the DLH to the entry turnstiles, go around to the right, it's by the entrance that gets used for EMH & GMF breakfasts, you'll recognise the area on the picture.

You exit Salon Mickey straight into the park afterwards.
