Adding transfers after paid in full/online check in done but before final payment due??

I'm hoping that someone may be able to answer this possibly complicated question for me.

I am a Silver cruiser with DCL and have a cruise booked this summer. My booking window of 90 days just opened and I am already paid in full, so I did my online check in and booked Palo brunch and dinner, and one excursion. My true final payment date however, isn't until 75 days prior to my cruise.

If I called now to add DCL transfers to/from the port, would they add the cost of that to my cruise fare since I haven't passed my final payment date yet? If so, would this change my reservation to no longer paid in full and wipe any of the excursions or dinner that I've booked? Or would everything be saved since at the time I did book them was paid in fulll? I'd like to get them added sooner rather than later, but don't want to risk losing the times I have booked as I got everything I wanted.

I hope this makes sense and I would appreciate thoughts from anyone who may have been in a similar situation or knows how this will go.

If you call, they will add it. They will add transfers upto a couple days ahead, I've done it. Your easiest thing is when you call have a form of payment ready so you don't have to worry about your final payment date. Good luck and have a great cruise

I know exactly what you're asking and I am not certain of the answer if you're adding them but not also paying them off too. Is that your situation? I am gold and was in that situation last month being PIF and having things booked, then adding transfers. But I paid them in full immediately so it didn't impact anything (aka, the fare remained PIF). If you're just wanting to add them now but not pay yet, I would call DCL to ask about it and handle that, don't do it online. Or just wait until after your PIF date to purchase them if you're not ready to pay for them now.

Thanks for your help guys. I don't mind paying immediately for the transfers but wasn't sure if that was an option - if it is then it makes it easy - I will call DCL and just ask to pay for it right away so my fare remains paid in full. Thanks again!

AFAIK, transfers aren't considered part of the cruise, so they shouldn't impact your PIF status. However, they may want payment when you book. That I don't know since we always book our whole vacation through our TA and pay through them.

Just an update - I called DCL today and added transfers and prepaid gratuities and paid them over the phone. There was no impact on my online check in bookings and it was very easy. Just thought I should post for any others in this situation.
