Adding to Disney Visa Reward Card

I have a Disney Visa Rewards card that expires 12/07. I used this card on our trip last October and it currently has a zero balance. Can I just call and add money to this card for our trip this October? If so, how quick does this balance show up on the card. I would like to wait until the September closing date so that I can add any rewards earned during the month of September. We leave Oct. 7 for our vacation.

Yes, you can call and have money transferred/added to that same card. It seems to me that the last time I did it the money was transferred to the card pretty much instantly, so you shouldn't have a problem!!

If you bank online you can do it there also. I think it is instant since you already have the card.

I would just order a new card, so it won't expire until the end of the following year. That way, if by chance you do end up with extra points on the card, they won't be lost.

I would do this as well if you have the time before you go just in case. We waited to the last minute to use our rewards while checking out and they didn't know how to uncharge the credit card and apply the rewards. ME pulled up so we ended up leaving without using the rewards. Luckily we will use them at HHI this month before the card expires 12/07

Since the amount I have to transfer is only a small part of our spending budget, there shouldn't be a problem using it all up. So I'm not worried about them expiring. I was just hoping to transfer what we earn in September, but that may be only $10-20 anyways.

I had earned a few extra dollars after we left on our Disney trip. I called the 1-800 number and they were transferred to my rewards card instantly and I was able to use them that day.

Last year we only put about 1/2 of our rewards on the card ($150) but burned through it really quickly. While shopping at the World of Disney, I used my cell phone to call the 800# on the card and was able to transfer the rest right there in the store. By the time I made it to the register the amount was on the card and used to buy my purchases.
