Adding to a DAS

I'm taking my son(5) in July and he has an Autism diagnosis.

I plan on stopping by guest services and am hoping they will provide him with a DAS. At that time I know I will need to have the entire party with me however later in the trip I will have a friend join us for a day.

The day the friend comes, if my son has a DAS do we all need to wait in line to have her added or can just I go and leave my son with his Uncle? The point of getting a DAS is to have an alternative place to wait, and I'm worried that having to stand in line again seems counter productive to that goal.

Is there a guest services that can help with this request close to fantasy land (meeting at be our guest for breakfast) or do we need to walk up to the front of the park?

If I upgraded to club level is there anything they can do to help with this process? (My understanding is no, but I'd rather spend a few more $ and have an enjoyable vacation for all then a meltdown in the park if it was possible)

You shouldn’t have to all wait in line again to add another person.

And no, club level has nothing to do with DAS.

You only need the entire party with you if it is larger than 6, otherwise you could have everyone's Magicbands with you and only the person who needs the DAS needs to be physically present.

The guest services team that are all over the park seem to be able to handle a lot of things, so it never hurts to ask. Really, for just adding a person to the DAS shouldn't take more than a few minutes at guest relations.

You can find one of the gust experience CM they have blue shirt on and they should be able to add the person to the DAS. you can also get return times for any ride at the park at theses. They are only in MK and HS for now

You can add one person easily. We have done it most of our recent trips as people come on different days.
It needs to be done in one of the Theme Parks, either by Guest Relations or should be able to be done by one of the Guest Experience Cast Me,vers.
In our experience, the CM did need to scan our daughter’s Magicband (she is the person DAS was issued to) and then scanned the Magicband of the person we were adding. They would have not needed to be there as long as I had their Magicbands/tickets.
